After a long period of quiet, the Pussycats are finally back with new arrivals Betty and Louise who’ve come straight from the Pink Club - the only bar in Clint City where men are not allowed. During this time, the Junta has been fine-tuning its intelligence services with the help of Winston and Trish.

You say this is the first time you don't like the artwork, yet it's the *exact* same style as Olga, or Kolos? Like I've said already, it's my favourite kind of artwork, and to see you say that you think it's bad is just plain rude. The artists of all the cards put effort into it, and if you think it's "something to complain about", let's see you supply them every two weeks.
And, for the record, Betty is very playable. All the clans need to be balanced, and Pussycats can't just rely on fillers and 4*s. Since when has a 7 power unreducable lifegain been a bad card, especially at 3*s?
I think you have some things a bit sideways there monsterlord, Olga and Kolos have artwork that is consistent with their clans, these new cats look pretty far out of place. I think it's a good thing that people express their opinions on these subjects, without the help of public criticism UR staff would have a lot more trouble finding direction. It's certainly not "rude" to express an opinion of someones art, as in artist myself I know that without honest criticism it is impossible to improve.
Mon sterlord don't go there... I believe what he means isn't that the artwork is BAD but the artwork considering the clan where they belong is bad...
It is true that this new girls don't fit the general hot chics image that pussycats give to people but if you look into the cards they are pretty much the same artwork as the other cards from this designer, talking about feelyn, sakura or svelthalana and never heard anyone say a thing about them...
Now I'm repeating myself when I say I like them but it's the last time... i'm pleased that the pussycats are receiving a new history line and I'm hoping next time to see some more pink clube pussycats... as said a waitress and a barmaid would be nice!!
@Monsterlord: stop putting words in my mouth or distorting what I said. You almost sound like John McCain.
I never said the artwork is bad, horrible or anything else like that. Or even worse offended any of the artists working on it. All I said is that I don't like the artwork BECAUSE it is not fitting into the clan. That is my opinion. You are allowed to say that it is your favorite artwork and I'm not allowed to express my opinion about it just because it differs from yours ? This is Urban Rivals and not some fascistic state in the 20th century for gods sake.
As far as the playable aspect goes... a 6 power 5* card isn't reliable in an environment where high powered SOA cards are ruling the day. Charlie and Clara are far better 5* choices. And Clara isn't even expensive.
And while a 3* 7 power card with some halfway ok ability might be playable in other clans, it won't see much playtime in Pussycats halfdecks. With Charlie, Yayoi, Wanda and Gwen around, there is no need for 3* cards in Pussycats. You can use those for cards for halfdecks anywhere between 9 and 13 stars and it is powerful in any form. No real need for a 3* card when you can have 4* and 5* cards instead.
Lbtd: @Monsterlord: stop putting words in my mouth or distorting what I said. You almost sound like John (U) McCain.- Personally I find this offensive as an American who proudly supports the Republican Nominee. This is a card game, not a politcal minded voting system. Please don't bring that up again. I found it highly offensive.
Yes you are entitiled to your opinion. The internet is about freedom of speech and what we can and can not say. I feel Urabn Rival artists want the good, the bad and the ugly. I am a GM for Warseer and its roleplaying enviroment and I know that I want the good and the bad. However, sometimes players get confused over what is implied when reading. Thats the issue with text based typing, there is no body language.
Now we can all agree to disagree. Some will like the new cards' artwork, some will not. Thats just how things are. Perhaps the artist will work on making 'sexier' Catgirls. One can only wish right? Or UR will declare the Pussycats are driving away from the 'Models' and going towards a more knitty gritty style that they feel now after a few years is suitable for the Pussycats.
If anyone has played Warhammer or Warhammer 40K (especially Chaos) will know that the owners of the game will design a new path and expect critism. I say we should speak freely, but be mindful of what we say. Afterall, this is the internet and we are all faceless, but that is no reason to be rude. We should all get a long.
