The more clans there are more interesting the game will be. Its boring to encounter always the same clans in ELO. For example out of lets say 10 battles, atleast 3 decks i fight against are containing all stars. The game needs more new tactics, so i prefer completely new bonus. The Bonus/ability copy as a bonus is a good idea, though it would be hard to balance the game then. It would ether be a weak clan, because with such a bonus the cards should be a bit week, or it would be a huge overpowering.
If you want a new clan to be gamechanging (especially in ELO) the bonus will need to a bit overpowered. Before rescue came Uppers/Sakrohm was the common deck in ELO, Rescue (because of their partially overpowered bonus) completely changed the face of ELO, but now we have come to settle on Uppers, All Stars and Roots
a new bonus, like a bonus = opp bonus (I hope if it is this, it would work even if the card you use it against doesnt have it's active bonus) could do this again, hopefully
I would think it might be the opposite of +2 life (the opposite of power is damage and attack is the hidden opposite of both damage and power) I would like to see +2 pillz as the bonus. as for the ability that might be all the rage (like when the Jungo appered 4 of the first 6 cards had stop ability, and Rescue had the support ability) would be roulette (meaning the ability varies and would be immune to SOA).
The bonus for the new clan has to neutralize Uppers / Montana - clearly they are the powerhouses of UR. Play any DT and you will run into one or the other the VAST majority of the time. I think UR knows they need to shake things up and even things out again. Here's what I propose:
This new clan will GAIN attack points when their opponent plays a card that has a negative attack bonus. That means that when they go up against an Uppers card, they will gain +10 instead of losing 10. When they face a Montana they will gain +12 instead of losing 12. This will balance out the entire universe of UR for the following reasons:
It will finally give Uppers and Montana a weakness. They won't dominate every DT and every ELO tournament. They will have something to fear. Additionally, it will not give this new clan complete power. When they are up against a clan that doesn't have a negative attack bonus, their bonus will be useless. This means this clan won't be overused, Uppers and Montana won't be overused, and all the clans will have a cyclic affect on one another. I think many agree UR has become stale with the usual decks. It's time for some balance.
Bonus = Opp Bonus is a pretty good idea, too. That would do the job of neutralizing powerful bonuses...although it does seem a tad bit boring.
