As the Piranas refuse to elect her clan leader, Dalhia has decided to leave town to explore new horizons and perhaps set up her very own clan. And she’d only just made up her mind to do this, when she received her first recruit in the form of Chiara, who’d also decided to go off adventuring away from the clan of her beginnings. From Monday, December 10th, Dalhia and Chiara will no longer be available in the shop’s packs. However, players who already own them can continue to use them as normal. Sales of the two characters on the Market will be blocked until the morning of Wednesday, December 5th.
Card pool inflation is really getting on my nerves these days. I whish UR would simply make a big set of CR's over 3 rapid sucession updates, one common, one uncommon and one rare from each clan.
I'm not even talking about the super weak ones like Diego or Bob Joby (even though I'd love to see them go), but there is deffinitely too much very, very bland and thoroughly useless chaff along with some "adjusted for different power level" chase cards out there that should go to make room for all the stuff they're churning out.
Sure, such an inflation of CR's would make them cheap, or make a few people rich, but it would take millions off clintz of the market in taxes alone, it'd certanly increese the sales of "x clan" packs seeing that much of the chaff would be gone. There'd still be average cards out there to make the stronger ones stand out, but I think this is loooooong overdue.
Does anyone have any info on how it worked with all the Soleil cards? Were they all available and just went CR all at once? What happened then? This has to be done at some point, some clans are pretty much pointless to buy solely on account of the inflation, while others have cramped design space on the basis that too many staples were made with a specific and ridiculous powerlevel in mind.
@Kefalo: As you might already know, Soleil cards were available in the game packs for only a period of 6 months, and after their time was up they did turn Cr immediately. No, they all didn't turn Cr at the same time as they were not all released in UR on the same date (obviously). Each Soleil card became a Cr once their individual time-period of 6 months (from their release date) was over.
