Go mono-FPC. All stars are weighing you down
Yeah thats what I meant this deck would work really well in another elo environment, as of now roots would be the best choice in clan to run elo imo since they counter berzerk reasonably well.
So i'm thinking all stars, gheist and roots would do well in elo
What room and deck format are you using? I rarely see GHEIST
Maybe somethin' like this: http://www.urban-rivals.com/presets/?id_preset=2368706
Don't forget Ahkab. His power ain't much, but he's an excellent fork in the 3rd round.
Ahh thanx for the reply .
Uhm , since I dont play all the time [i play for like 2 months then take 10 month brake [right now I have 1 week remaining b4 I go on break (Break = college)] , what would you suggest I do ??
*I sold all my cards coz I was sure that the prices will fall drastically over time as a 7 credit pack has been launched .
Should I buy a deck or rather w8 out the period and buy 'em after 10 months or so ??
Yeah it's 2, 4, 6, 8 One time I had 1320 on a thursday, stopped playing and ended up with 1308 at the end of the week
Lol heck no soa over defeat anyday maybe cassandra but evne then i like two soa
Greem unless you plan on using more than one 4*, which would be irrational considering the skeelz have michael and a bunch of good 3*s. Belgosi is basically ralph with a higher min, but hey, that protection is totally worth an extra star, right? And carter...carter is what happens when Jay gets spiaghi'd, so unless you're seeing uranus every single game, I'd go with Ja-...oh wait, no, Jay sucks, it's just that carter sucks even worse. Stick with greem
I use Piranas right now, they do pretty well. Although they do have the slight issue of no good, cheap 5* cards (I'm using Pesth right now, I'd much prefer Selma or Ahkab, or even Bloodh, though.) Their mindgames are not only fun, they're effective. In a 5-4-4-3-3-2-2-2 setup, Ahkab or Selma at 5*s gives Pill manipulation (In Ahkab's case, a dangerous fork), some decent power and great damage. At the 2 4* slots, Scubb and Raeth are great. Pill manipulation and Attack manipulation (Coleridge is a good 4* as well, nice and underrated but quite often an 8/6). For 3*s, you've got options. Taljion, Baba, Greesh, Ector, and of course Tyd, their best waller. Now for those 3 2* slots, this is where Piranas shine. They've got some of the best fillers in the game in Hawkins (both), Tula, Puff, Spycee, even Trey and Kalder can be good.
They're by no means the best clan (I still say Roots hold that title), but they're definitely solid. And SoB messes with a lot of clans (Like Rescue. And Montana. Even Jungo.)
Wish they had a good, ELO-legal DR though.
Hey, the exact same thing happened to me once when I was on this ski lift and didn't wear long underwear...
Freaks/Piranas is a fun little combo, because you can have pill manip on top of pill manip. If your opponent reads your opener wrong, it might mean they're out of the game right away. It's easy to confound your opponent when 3 out of your 4 cards all have pill manip on them.
Also, I have Spiaghi for splash.
I definitely do see your point, but for me personally, it's more worrisome when an entire clan has to be planned against. You can't build a good ELO deck without having a plan for dealing with SoA and high attack manip. Kalindra, on the other hand, is just one card that may or may not get drawn, and definitely does not guarantee a win.
I think she joins a large group of other conditional "ha ha I win" cards, including, but not limited to:
-Any strong LPD
-"Super" poisoners (Ex: Azel, Greem, Karrion)
-Huge attack manip cards with high gap (Ex: Sammy, Troompah)
-High powered or high attack manip 8 damage SoA (Ex: Cliff, Wardom, XU52)
-High-gap pill recovery cards (Ex: Tsubame*, Dregn)
The reason she seems so scary right now is that most people just aren't used to accounting for her. When everyone fully understands her "automatic win" conditions, she will be much easier to face.
Just my two cents... I definitely do understand why a lot of people feel she's a cheap card, though, and I am definitely not opposed to her catching a player ban.
*Tsubame and Tino is my favorite "conditional auto win" combo ever. Whether Tino wins or loses, a furied Tsubame with bonus can 1HKO afterwards, in some cases creating a fork that there is absolutely no way to beat by Round 2. Better yet, it's possible to build a deck with the both of them that holds up fairly well vs SoB, SoA, and attack manip.
Ok deck. I would personally change the deck to Selma, Raeth, Hawkins, Taljion, Ector, Puff, Baba and Tyd.
Interesting deck, If possible I would change Sayura to Shifou.
