After years of research, Lumia has discovered how to transfer the minds of her people into artificial bodies. Originally invented to save the survivors of the Vortex genocide, this procedure was quickly used to strengthen the physical and mental abilities of resistance members. Today, Lumia continues to use her talents both as a doctor for humans and a technician for the Hive members’ artificial bodies.

In the distant future is a dead and crystallized world. The rebellion against Dregn has been vanquished. The last resistance group, known as the Hive, pirate a Vortex time portal and narrowly escape extermination by transplaning to the past... but the ionic charge is too much for their spacecraft that crashes down into Clint City, not far from the old, abandoned Planetarium. Lost in an unfamiliar era and rejected by the humans, the Hive hide out in the city only to uncover the existence of their enemy. So, maybe the prophecy was true after all... Should they take their chance to reform the rebellion... and perhaps change their future?

I don't understand the art (is it in reverse order?), but for me, Lumia is one of the most useful Hive characters. Probably THE most useful of the non-banned cards. Surprisingly easy to finish her mission (8KOs, any KO mission can be a major headache), I've found her SOA of more utility within the clan and more of a potential threat to the opponent than the penalised Miyo's SOB. Yes, Maa-Ia is better for the stars, but at 2 damage is limited to blocking. Lumia's 6 damage shines through.

well i got few words about her

after playing against Lumia several times in ELO... its turns out that i hate her more than any other Hive (currently exist)

and after few times thinking about it... if a GHEIST or Roots have some ATK manip equalizer ... that would be super scary...

you can simply compare her with spidey from Rescue.. and to compensate her uncertain ATK manipulation (im not sayin" that its unstable) she got unconditional SOA...

She's a generally better Striker. Whereas Striker equalizes power to force pilling out of intimidation, Lumia necessitates that the enemy must at least 3 pill and keeps an advantage (against a 4-5 star) against 8 powered heroes up to 8 pills. In ELO she's weaker... or is she? Because 6 damage is scarier in ELO and she still retains advantages up to

While SOA solidifies her as an excellent defensive bluff. Wipes out damage ability cards (who tend to have lower power) hence can make rounds more predictable if need be.

Is weakened offensively by Nightmare, Raptors and Pirana, but like I said, she's a defensive card.
Pirana pillz manipulators? Gone. It's now a flat 6/6. Glorg would like to have a say.
Nightmare lifestealers? Useless. 2-3 pills and you will win unless the other decides to waste pills.

8.5/10, very underrated card. Maybe even 9/10. People need to get on this card now

4 stars 6/6: Stop opp. Ability.
Welp, such an ability is fairly utilitarian. Gets rid of potentially desturtuctive abilities defensively, or simply remove a vital ability to secure a 6 damage. SOA though is fairly workaroundable in the first two rounds, you usually throw a decoy to let them waste the SOA. Bonus tends to support well with the ability, helping build an even bigger disadvantage to work with. Obviously stop is a major counter, but unless you're running a full stop deck (which many don't), stop is still easy to get around in the first 2 rounds.

Stats are overall so-so. 6 power can be forgiven in a two or three star, but definitely not on a 4 star, when you need the 6 damage to win the match. 6 damage itself is a good bluff to many and scary to many more, but 6 power is still a sizeable disadvantage.

7/10 inherently good abitily and scary damage, but lumia 's fairly wimpy power holds It back.

    Lumia review;

    Pros:

6 power is average but good for a 4-star card.
6 damage is very good for a 4-star card.
SoA as her ability, which is useful as usual against many cards.
    Artwork is good.
SoA cards don't affect against her because of her own ability of SoA.

    Cons:

The level 4 artwork is, it's good, but a bit confusing for me.
4-star card, so takes a lot of space in decks.
Has competition such as Nebula, Raam, Nameko, etc.

Overall- 7.5/10. Decent card with 6 power and 6 damage. The 6 damage is so crucial to the battle because 6 damage for a 4-star card is solid.
