RIP Guillotinette, a singer who fled the old continent to escape her sentence and consequent beheading. Nicknamed “Beautiful Bosom” by the saloon regulars due to her crystalline tones, she was the victim of a cruel trick of fate when, while performing on stage, the great mirror above her shattered into smithereens, slicing her head clean off.

Howdy, stranger, over the hills and beyond the great desert and the Rocky Mountains lies the little town of Purgatory: the last stop before the great beyond or so the sign reads! Situated on the crossroads of ancient roads and mystical fault lines, it intimately unites the world of the living with that of the dead. And it is in this godforsaken country, where time and its inhabitants are frozen in the frenzy of the great gold rush, that restless ghosts await their hour: a right of passage to a better world. But the red tape of the Great Beyond is without a doubt the worst of its kind and kills people through sheer boredom more surely than a bullet to the brain.

    Guillotinette 4*

    8/5 Stop +3 Pillz

Guillotinette is a card that I have mixed feeling about, whilst she is a great wall and has stats that go as perfectly as possible with her bonus(Day or Night). I feel like her ability isn't the ideal Stop: ability. Whilst pill manip is extremely strong, it's an ability that sets you up for later, when looking at powerful Stop cards, i'd rather have an ability that affects the battle itself, like Josephine or Schluck. Pill manip on 4*s and 5*s ends up working somewhat like a double edged sword, if your predictions are way off, you can end up hurting yourself way more than anything else. A 2* and 3* pill manip can lose a round without costing you too much, the same cannot be said about 4*s and 5*s.

If your opponent only has 1 or 2 SoA cards, they can play them in such ways where you can't really abuse this card which means that she obviously shines the most vs Roots or Gheist, against those, just as long as you don't go too crazy she can give you a nice edge, since her solid stats do not grant much room for your opponent to outplay you.

    7.2/10.

I have continuously talked about how the general weakness of GhosTown seems to be how hard they rely on their abilities to really do much, but here we have her!

With powerful base stats of 8/5, the GhosTown bonus is gonna transform her into a wall during both Day and Night time. I would however say that she still manages to be more useful during the day, due to the 2HKO potential she brings to the table as a 9/6, but at the end of the Day (puns) that is an opinion mostly bases around a preferred aggressive playstyle.

In regards to her ability, due to how hard a Stop Opponent Ability clan would wreck most GhosTown cards, you're definitely gonna be wanting those 3 extra pillz she can bring to the fight!

In my opinion a wonderful card, not too strong or too weak, and one I can't wait to try out for myself.

You know I knew her death was by beheading just by the name alone. The only reason I clicked on the card was for how that beheading carried out and commenting on it.

    Guillotinette review:

    8 power is solid.
SoA helps her big time thanks to her ability.
    Another great artwork by Katjagger.
5 damage is pretty decent for a 4-star card.

    Cons:

That ability is gonna be very hard to activate, since SoA is needed.
4-star card, so takes quite a lot of space in decks.
Has competition such as Padre Frollo, Gus Rope, Marshall, etc.

Overall- 7.5/10. Better than Hermosa for me hands down. However, I would not include this card in a professional deck due to the condition needed to activate her ability (by professional deck, I mean, T1, Survivor 1, Arcade, those).

A reference to the bloodlust of the french revolution where the guillotines couldn't stop working after someone said "J'accuse!!!"; a revolution that ended in the napoleonic dictatorship... I don't know why the french feel proud about that tragic event, everyone can understand how evil it was after reading Joseph Maistre or even Edmund Burke's work "Reflections on the Revolution of France" .
