I use only Eklore for Leader UP Missions in a "Mono" deck. (It means 7 cards are from the same Clan).
I don't trust the other Leaders to actively help win a match.
I don't use Vansaar expect Leader Matches. I have never really used Vansaar in the Training Rooms since I'm mission orientated.
Eyrik's base Damage is too low for me to use to speed up the process. Unless the mission was win 10 rounds, then yes Eyrik would be my go to in place of Eklore.
Timber only helps decks who can win rounds, not actually help win the round.
Solomon has been nerfed. He was cited as the best ELO leader before he was nerfed. A Tie-Break is hardly an advantage in EFC. Often your low star hand doesn't really need it for the individual rounds and I rarely see matches end with a draw. It is possible, but most of these draws are caused by card abilities, Solomon uses raw stats only.
I don't have Memento, so he's out of the question.
For Survivor, Ashigaru is my go to Leader
He negates John Doom
Being able to see all your opponents Courage plays in itself is a huge advantage.
Even against Ambre who increases opponent Power by 3 every Round as a result, with something such as Ymirah Cr, Pandora or Clarice... (Though I rarely use her in Survivor), you can still have a manageable fight.
I also use Mr Big Duke if I observe Uranus/ GraksmxxT Mt/Clover appearing frequently after a few matches.
I hardly use Robert Cobb since I'm not that creative compared to 2017 at deck making. I use Judge Lynch and Roderick as Splash Cards (though I can also use them as Clan Support) since I'm not really using Mr Big Duke
Never really used them in Tourney unless a Mission MUST be done with them.
The points system gives incentive to using a low star deck that wins Rounds. In that nature, say I have Eyrik. 8/5 in my deck.
He is basically 8/5 -1 Opp. Power, Min 5. With only that and nothing else, not much he can do to win a match.
If I lose to him, that helps the opponent score more. In addition, even with most cards getting a boost from him, it doesn't really help as a whole since I get rewarded less points for winning a match with more stars.
Overall, I'm mission orientated when selecting Leaders, though not necessarily going to use Timber for the sake of say: Inflict 600 Damages with GHEIST.

First of all thank you for your reply, as soon I've seen it I was like
I will say something first, I never use Leaders because I like to have 8 cards from one clan...
Eklore is actually a pain to have against because it's always taking your pills unless you are using GHEIST
Vansaar absolutely useless unless you are right you do missions and you need exp
Eyrik could be like Eklore a pain to have against but again SOA makes him useless...
Timber always been a good leader because it can really create some mind games with your opponent making him using more pillz...
Solomon I find him rather useless...
Memento 30M card sob I guess maybe there are few people that actually tried him...
Ashigaru is so situational...
John Doom never really used it or found against...
Ambre I found her OP because 3 more powers if you use them with Bangers it gets insane I think...
Mr Big Duke is not bat at all...
Robert Cobb it's really interesting if you want to make a mixed deck but in the chance you don't get him in the match you are pretty much fucked lol
Nope. Cancel power mod works vs. Eyrik and Ambre, (And John Doom) Cancel dmg mod works on Vholt and Timber, (And John Doom). Cancel att mod works on Hugo, cancel pillz mod works on Eklore, Morphun and Melody. Cancel life mod works on Bridget. Prot power also works on Eyrik (and John Doom) because his ability is - power.
Interestingly, Ashigaru is a complete counter against John Doom since John Doom has no means to go Reprisal once Ashigaru is at play.
Mr Big Duke counters against Vholt and the damage reducing aspect of John Doom.
SoA doesn't cancel leader abilities, though.
Ashigaru’s effects and Solomon’s effects are cancelled if both sides have them in their hand.
John Doom’s effects are technically cancelled if the opponent has Ashigaru.
This is obvious, but playing 2 Leader in the same hand cancels Leader Abilities.
Protection Power/Damage works on John Doom too. Added that info for Cancel Modifiers.
Mentioned about cancelling Leader abilities. (Though obvious, for benefit of new players reading I’ve included that.)

Note: Annotated on HipHoppa’s notes.
Personal Opinion about John Doom.
Personally I see him as a powerful card because of his ability. Despite the fact he is potentially the easiest to counter, most strong decks I see don’t really actively counter him in Survivor.
He is powerful with All Stars as decks featuring him back when he wasn’t banned in EFC featured him since he created a Reprisal: -4 Opp. Power, Min 1 scenario.
You can counter him through Protection Power/Damage and Cancel Opp. Power/Damage Mod (as Long as it’s not Reprisal). You can also counter him through Ashigaru.
Understandable since against Jam&Earlxxt, Ymirah Cr, there are other attractive choices to use such as Maana Cercei, Death Adder, Roderick, Kiki Cr, DJ Korr Cr... hardly a number of them are actively designed to counter John Doom when he’s at Reprisal. A player could add Fixit to their Bangers survivor deck, but with many choices and factors, it’s understandable to not design a deck to defend against John Doom in mind. In fact most decks with Leader are probably designed with a strategy in mind rather than a countermeasure against specific enemies.

I can understand, especially since they removed her Maximum and the advantage she gives over Ashigaru and John Doom to some extent.
Back when Leaderwars was a thing, Ambre was cited to be the second best Leader just below Morphun.
(This was before Melody, John Doom, Mr Big Duke, Robert Cobb and Memento came in the scene).
