They’ve traveled a very long way from the Future and are certainly not there for sightseeing! Under the orders of their tyrannical emperor, the members of the Vortex Clan have come to Clint City to eradicate, at its very roots, the trouble that will be caused by the Clint City Clans in the future. The first to arrive in town are Neloe, Deea, Sunder and Heegrn, who are there to case the joint and prepare for the imminent arrival of the other clan members. The invasion is underway. Who can stop it now?
Get these characters in the shop’s packs
I would of much rather had a +2 pillz clan instead...the bonus is very noobish..you can go for 2hit ko and either way and win no matter what bc even if they have the pillz to beat you out youll just get it all back and pwn them the next round and still win .. iahvnt used or fought this clan yet...but it seems unbeatable
"but it seems unbeatable"
They're not, far from it.
"iahvnt used or fought this clan yet."
And herein lies the problem...
You people /really/ need to get some experience here instead of relying on assumption. The Vortex bonus is very difficult to work with, especially with the current cards. They're also quite easy to beat.
They're not running rampant in any of the modes, and I very much doubt they will ever in a dominant way.
This is a very interesting new clan. The bonus can get confusing but as I see it, if you loose the round with a Vortex card, you gain 2/3 of the pillz you used. I'm not quite sure how it works under 3 pillz though.
Anyway, I thought this might be a cool opportunity to bring back some old, not-so-good cards, such as Bob Joby or Morlha (randomly chosen) and give them abilities or better abilities and make them more powerful or what not. Since Vortex are from the future, I think it might be a cool idea. Of course they're names will have to be altered some how...
Shadowcouncil: If you chose to interpret my words that way, then that is your own issue, not mine. I never said it was a plus, I said it was a pointless argument based on the popularity of SoB decks. Maybe too much coffee again, eh?
I don't play in ELO, hence the low average. What's the point in ELO when I can make more in T1 Deathmatch? Just because I don't play ELO does not make me an less of a player.
My point about people who have written off freaks being wiped up by players who haven't is valid. Most people *don't* know how to play against them and that's part of their charm for me and all the others who do. Just because you don't play them, doesn't mean other don't. Unless you are on here 24/7 playing constantly, I don't see how your experience of battles counts as a decent cross section of the URverse. So you don't come across many people playing mono-freaks? Oh well, *everybody* else must surely have the same experience as you! Sheeesh, could you be any more self-important?!
As for your new 'love of dual feaks decks' I've just read back and can't find anywhere you have proclaimed love for them at all!
You are NOT the eminent authority on all things UR.
Your opinion on the freaks clan is nothing more than an opinion NOT fact as you keep stating.
So yes, I will keep replying in defence of one of my favourite clans while you keep up your pompous, egotistical, dirisive & inaccurate responses about them.
"Maybe too much coffee again, eh?"
Again, why are you resorting to cheap tactics to score some kind of silly win?
"when I can make more in T1 Deathmatch? Just because I don't play ELO does not make me an less of a player."
I'm afraid it does. Deathmatch is easy mode in comparison to Elo. I've won over 30 T1 DMs with little or no effort, and half of those without the obvious OP (imo) uppers mixes.
Elo I can only manage 1335 currently.
Elo mode is the pinnacle of Urban Rivals. it's where the very best compete. The fact that Freaks mono are not used there in the upper teirs says it all about the clan's imba next to other clans such as All Stars, GHEIST, and Bangers et al.

If you're going to do this with me, please try to do it properly. Post 177 of this thread clearly states:
- Please bear in mind that I'm not calling Freaks awful. I like the clan a lot, they have some wonderful cards and lots of high power that can make for some very intimidating hands. Their style is also different and fun to work with every now and then. this deck, for example, got me 1300e+ back when I was struggling to break it:
"Wither & Bloom -
""You are NOT the eminent authority on all things UR.

Look, I know it's not nice when someone talks in a negative way about something you care about, but I'm only relaying facts here. I'm not simply saying: "I think Freaks suck therefore they do.", I'm actually providing you with evidence and reasoning to back it up.
Please stop taking it so personally, and definitely try not to lower this to personal insult. We can get heated without the need to be so childish.
The facts as they stand:
1 - Elo mode is Urban Rivals Premiership division. There are clans there you rarely see as they're, in the modern context of the game, slightly underpowered and cannot compete at such a steady pace.
FPC and Freaks might be to two most underused clans. They just don't have that all round balance that the more competitive clans do.
Freaks mono just cannot stand up consistently to the clans that dominate the upper tiers of Elo.
2 - They have wonderful high power and very nice abilities, but they need some kind of mono buff before they can really compete in that context.
3 - Winning DMs is easy. Very, very easy. It's not a good marker for a clan's overall potential.
"If you chose to interpret my words that way, then that is your own issue, not mine. I never said it was a plus, I said it was a pointless argument based on the popularity of SoB decks."
What I meant, is that the main focus of your arguments was that SoB being popular wasn't bad for the clan. I read very little other reasoning or evidence that the clan work as a mono hand.
This indicates one of two things:
1 - You consider SoB popularity to be a bonus.
2 - You have little to back up your claim but your obvious passion for the clan.
Now, again, I'd rather we didn't descend into bickering and name calling. This is a decent debate at its core, and there's no need for it.
