We've rolled out some big changes this afternoon including a new, more readable design for the cards and a new version of the Flash game client with several enhancements and bug fixes:
-A new Quick Challenge that's much faster and more informative than before. You can enter quick challenge mode whenever you like by clicking the button (crossed swords) at the bottom of the room list.
-Better motion of projectiles during the battles
-An animation for Sureshot (when your attack is at least double that of your opponent)
-Shortcuts for common actions (tooltips available when you mouse over the buttons)
-Nicknames of other players are more visible
-Flags are visible during battles
-New card appearance is carried over to the battles
-And many more little tweaks for you to discover.
-Bug that caused all cards to pile up at the left of the screen
-Some text in popups was cut off
-Improved memory / resource management by the game
I hope everyone likes the new changes. We're still working on making the game even better with future releases.

Hmm, whist were on the topic of improvements, ive read a good suggestion somewhere
Why not make a new room, for rescues, so that they can play eachother for the daily tournaments , Just put all the rescue players in one room , and let us normal players play normally
Because +12 attack + random + luck =
I agree, I liked the old Star graphic concept better...maybe give it some shading to create texture, but the bubble graphic concept doesn't work for me. I do like all the other graphic chances, And the addition of the Blocked attack animation is cool. I woulddn't mind seeing hte "rolls" that crete a block/attack. Be a nice option to turn on.
Don't forget to click again the "fast animation" option if you feel like the battle anim is slower than before.
The option has to be reset to default "normal speed" during he upgrade, but we have found a better way and it will be kept in next upgrades.
We are very happy with the Quick Challenge function, we see lot's of usage for it
Further versions will improve on the behaviour of Quick Challenge.
