Post 607/608, ChaosDragon explains the reasoning for the bans. As we (as usual) didn't get all the details the FR folks got, I've gone ahead and translated his post into English. And I quote:

Hello everyone,
I wanted to take a few minutes to explain our reasoning concerning the actual ELO bans.
We have carefully analyzed the most used cards and the cards that you want to ban, and we read all your suggestions on the forum.
Our main objective is that each clan be playable in ELO, but we want to also move things around and permit players to use long-time banned cards.

All Stars :
Marina's ban eas necessary to allow the return of Robb Cr. The all stars can replace her with many other cards and have other good damage reducers.
Bangers :
We don't see a reason to modify this clan.
Berzerk :
We think the Berzerk are a good clan that isn't too powerful, but a large number of players have demanded the ban of one of their "Defeat" cards. We understand this point of view concerning the suppression of OP cards in the ELO meta, and have by consequence decided to ban Clive.
Fang Pi Clang :
Kerozinn Cr is a powerful card, but she can be easily replaced by many other cards. We don't see a reason to ban her.
Freaks :

Montana is actually underused. We think that it would be interesting to reintroduce Oscar and this wouldn't make Montana OP.
Nightmare :
We don't see a reason to modify this clan.
Piranas :
We prefer not to reintroduce Ulrich for the same reason that we don't want to restore Bristone to GHEIST. Piranas have Fischer available if you need a DR and can count on powerful cards at each level, as well as stunning pill manipulation capacity. Parmabarb is powerful, but is practically the only powerful "Defeat" card in the clan, so he can stay.
Pussycats :
We think Lucy is excellent, almost crucial for her clan. You can use her to open, as well as a wall or simply for her DR. Anyway, after reading your comments, we decided not to ban the best 2 stars from the clans (like Lehane, Parmabarb or Cyb Lhia). As a result, we will only ban Diana and Sera M1 and restore Yayoi Cr.

I said Campbell was the only solid SEVEN power, all those cards you mentioned are 6 powers. As for people who are suggesting Benson and Gordon, good elo Rescue cards currently rely very heavily on conditional abilities. almost every single 5 star Rescue currently has is conditional , like seriously for 5 stars, there's Aurora, Hax, Nancy, Pastor, Reeve, and Wolf, that leaves 33% of the cards as non-conditional and the only two elo viable ones in my opinion as Reeve and Aurora (although I can't remember the last time I saw Aurora used)

As for four stars, Kerry is obviously a staple, but everyone else once again is conditional, we've got Benson, Glosh andGordon Then the non-conditional cards which are Scott Ld, a joke of a card, while Shirley might as well have no ability and Suzie is just absolutely wrecked by SOA. I stand by what I said as Campbell being the only solid 4 star in Rescue currently. Ghoub may have been viable a year or two ago, but the standard power of elo is rising and a 6 power no ability isn't going to cut it anymore.

As for what UM_Dante said, I actually disagree that Elvira coming back for Campbell will make Rescue stronger. Campbell is needed much more in the 4 star department than Elvira is for the 3 star department (Buckler is solid and Slyde is viable as long as your other cards aren't too susceptible to SOA)

I'm still fighting for keeping Campbell, keep things how they are or bring both back AND I only suggest both because if players truly find the combo too strong, then ban the cards in the weekly voting, no one said you couldn't. This game is constantly evolving and with new cards like Byron, Beck - Nena, and Xingshu coming out, obviously the staff is still releasing high power cards. Now that the new power cap is 9, Rescue's 6 power isn't as menacing as it was before, especially in high pillz battles which 4 and 5 star cards mainly engage in. This game is changing, allow Rescue a chance to see how it fares, if it's still too strong, bans await for next time, just don't take away Campbell, seriously, Rescue will definitely NOT be overpowered if it stays the way it currently is
