It is ann event where all the members of the UR Community contribute by playung matches and accumulating damage on a damage gauge. Once certain damage targets have been met, CRs will be released, up to a total of 4. Individuuals with the highest damage rankings however will be awarded with Clintz, IronJaw or Rb cards!
I try not to get too involved on the boards, but I would like to point out that UR is a product of a business. For most businesses, the goal is to generate profits. The idea that we have seen some credit "scams" is a little silly-if the developers are running short sales or incentives for people to spend money on their product, that is well within their rights to do. I don't see much of an argument to present when the vast majority of the other aspects of the game are completely free to enjoy. In addition, no one from the development team forced anyone to spend any money-if you didn't like it, don't spend. Pretty straight forward, in my opinion.
As for the Big 5 argument, I haven't seen much impact on the prices for any of them yet, so really I can't see how that is a valid one. Maybe that changes, but right now, all it did encourage newer players to spend some money, improve their collection and get some better decks. Again, seems reasonable to me.
As for this event, honestly these are the ones I don't like. Probably because I don't have the time or opportunity to play the number of hours that will be required in order to get one of the new cards. However, that is my issue, and not a reflection of how UR runs its events. If the community as a whole enjoys them, well then keep them coming
Points is new players are not only catching up in this way, they are actually surpassing your skilled veteran players and in a very short amount of time, in terms of collection. It only takes a spin. You can't just simply misrepresent things like that. You want to give big's from a spin of a token, then triple/double up the bigs in events and elo. As an instance, a two months event can't be equal to a marlysa cr when a golden token can bring up a marlysa cr as well. The time horizon just isn't the same and it will obviously discourage the "hard way" of obtaining collectors. You have to somehow make it up for the other side if you want things to keep going as it is. At the time the new mode was to be introduced I suggested a way in which both new players and old would play in a balanced and competitive mode in but you chose to copy HS's Arena with leaderwars .
