If the staff really wanted the players to reach 4 CR's they would have offered prizes for placings better. For example CR's for top 10 or things like that. That way those with a lot of points would continue to play after securing top 150, people would want to get those CR's, and people would strive to achieve more points in general
A rational level? I just depicted an example in which gold tokens demotivate players from playing in competitive modes and buying packs instead that offer tokens or playing on hourly dt's, since the latter is the easy way. At least from the 2 days of non-stop golden tokens spinning, that is the idea you gave us.
I don't know how would you feel if you played a game for years and a new player just spin 5 gold tokens and acquired your collection in minutes but I would certainly not feel very motivated from then on to play in competitive modes. Points I am making : give collectors to players that can accumulate 100 tokens only. I am pretty sure that someone who cares enough to collect 100 tokens is a more motivated and loyal player than someone that just played for one hour spin a token and won as much as the first did.
On another note, I am pretty sure that you have also noticed just how many players are online daily and compared to the past I think the numbers should be worrisome. Myeltd is making a point. The general idea that you are running out of ideas is apparent. The lack of involvement in game from staff members is showing that this game is slowly losing it's charm(the ban elo ban sessions, the lack of proper modifications to balance the increasing amount of cards being released every two weeks etc). The interface isn't much of a problem, while it will give the idea that the game has somehow changed, the change will only be physical...
