It's 20 cards per pack, the first two packs I bought I got 40 cards total. I didn't get Wee Lee Rb so I thought I try my luck and buy another pack. Still no Wee Lee Rb but they made it up by giving me 19 extra cards.... lol....
Seriously, I don't know how I got 39 cards out of that one pack but I'm glad I did.
FYI: to all who speak of "Rb" cards ho back and read the first announcement about them. Personally i have 0zero Rb cards because if i can get packs i go for new blood. The entire point of "Rb" cards is/or was supposed to be so new players who join UR for the first time and get their starter deck and also for packs like titanium will get cards that have updated ART. Thats the entire reason. So if think the price is too high... Youre right. It is too high! That's why i own none. Dont buy em then. People who look to sell will most likely drop the price more. Is it worth it to you to have the Rb? Its your clintz, do what you want with them. Just dont complain that the owners price them too high. Its their card they can do what they want. You dont have to buy it. Or go get non new blood packs... or even better "wait"... theres a concept. Riots will NEVER get a Rb most likely bc they came out after better art standards. So eventually Rb will be tapped out. Then get titanium packs after there are many Rb out there. If you buy now its just being impatient on your part. Packs now arent the best idea either. Waiting its one of the better strategies. The best thing to do #legaldisclaimer would be to go buy the OLD version now because later newer players will want the greener grass you have. They are almost Cr and prices have shown it somewhat. Yeah there are a lot of copies of the older ones out there but one day there may more people who want the original. Or i could be totally off.
These "vintage" packs are generally a good deal. If you get the Rbs, cool. Sell 'em for big bucks. If not, most of the cards you get through this will eventually become Rb and then you can sell your old copies for big $$. Win-win.
Meh it's pretty clear what the marketing strategy is on these "thematic" packs. Throw in the hope of getting an extremely valuable new Rb and people will buy. They fill the rest of the potential cards in the pack with relatively worthless cards so that you don't get much bang for your buck. However, according to the gambler's fallacy, people will buy a bunch of packs, expecting to eventually get the new Rb, which has a low chance of dropping. I disagree with everything here: the "thematic" packs that add 0 value to the game, the whole concept of Rb's, the over-inflation of the market and the whole gambling for a card thing. Therefore, as Impala suggested, I don't buy these packs and I don't own a single Rb because I don't need useless duplicates of the cards I already own.
As with any business, people vote with their wallets. If you lean more to my side, don't drop another dime on the game until they start making decisions that benefit the playerbase. If you lean the other way, disregard my post and do whatever the heck you want. I know there are people out there who love Rb's, but everyone should know that these thematic packs are a rip-off.
The fact that the staff continually repackage existing cards in new packs and create duplicates of existing cards is indicative of where their priorities are. No concern with improving the game, just looking to milk the cash cow until it runs dry. Once the GAME becomes a priority, I'll think about spending money on this game again
