If there’s one thing you’ve got to hand Ethane, it’s her unique talent
for sniffing out traitors and plots in the making, however big or small
they might be. And of course she knew that by following Pilzken’s and
Bryan’s orders to infiltrate the GHEIST, disguised as Vryer, she was
sure to uncover something untoward. But what she found went far beyond
anyone’s imagination. No clan had been spared and there was not one part
of the city that wasn’t under constant control and surveillance. The
Oculus was everywhere…
Everyone had always thought the Government was the scourge of the
city, its damned and invisible soul, the be all and end all of Clint
City. But therein lay the genius of the Oculus. People often say the
greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn’t
exist. But with the Oculus, their greatest trick was to have convinced
people they existed but under a whole other form and a whole other name.
And now the great attack is about to commence. As of Monday, they’ll
be setting their sights on databases, computer servers and the market.
Nothing will ever be quite the same again...
-Site maintenance from 10pm to 3pm
-The market will be reset to zero
-The return of doubles in packs (like the New Blood packs)
-New buying back prices from Kate for rare, common or unusual cards
So, hold onto your seats!
Even if doubles is not a big deal, why bring them back? It basically reduces your chances of getting cards you don't own, which is not going to be fun for new players. Imagine saving up for a long time to get a titanium etc pack, and you open 4 Elixir cards? I don't think this is a good change.
In fact all of these new things seem very pointless. Oh well. It will be cool to see what will happen.
I just read the comment at the bottom of the post. Kate will have new Buy Back prices for cards. I assume that means they can be sold back for more than they are currently. Which is the staff's way of giving us something out of the bad doubles we get.
^I doubt Kate's prices will ever top what you can get on the open market...if so, people would buy all copies of a card from market for less and then sell to Kate for more...although that did happen at one time.
I remember watching the market every day for cards like Igniss and Mitch to go below 150 because Kate was buying them for 200 or something. That was fun...
