As I had no excuse I decided to do the missions. Here's how I covered them, some analytics and thoughts. Maybe, my feedback hepls improve the game .
Mission 1. Win 40 rounds - 17 battles - 1 hr. Proof:
Nothing special to say. Used Tourney to get cash along.
Mission 2. Win 20 battles Tourney - 36 battles - 1 hr 35 min. Proof:
I am not a newbie, quite an average player, so I had to use 1.5 tournaments to achieve it. Better players might need just 1 hour. But has anyone thought about new players? Haw many battles and time they might need?
Mission 3. Win 20 battles EFC - 35 battles - 1 hr 50 min. Proof:
I haven't seen this fast Elo ever. Still, it is not a good thing to make people rush Elo. 2 hours for this mission is too much. Also, I did not have to sacrifice my score, as I did not have any. But what abouth those who did?
Mission 4. Win 20 battles Survivor - 27 battles - 1 hr 40 min. Proof:
The most boring mode, I got lucky to cover it fast. If you can say 1 hr 40 min is fast for 1 mission within 5 of them in the pool os 36 hrs to do them. Also, I used some pretty pricely cards to cover it like Quetzal and Jackie. What about guys that do not have such a luxury? More and more time..
Mission 5. Do 250 damage with Ghostown - 23 battles - 40 min. Proof:
Most balanced mission of all (after you modified it!). Funniest of all too, used T2, had some fun with Mallory and John O'Clock. If initial amount of damage was retained, it woul make it last 1.5-2 hrs.
Conclusion. I did total: 138 battles, spent 6 hrs, 45 min.
This is within 36 hours.
Is it much or is it little? Compare it to, say, Coliseum. Usually, you give us 60 battles and 72-96 hours. Compare it to Tourney. Usually a Tourney takes an hour and 20-30 battles.
Let us not forget, finally, that this game aims at a 5-minute action play!
I understand that we speak about exclusive contetnt, but we also speak about loyal audience that does not miss the flash offer, means these people are always around - this is very important! I say, you are right to give such content for free to loyal players only, but I think it is a mistake to make them grind to this extent for it, as many loyal players are limited by IRL duties too. Many of them often miss it for the reason there's too much gring. So much, it is not fun amy more!
IMO, 70-80 battles and 3-4 hrs for the set of 5 missions would be the average that would be a perfect ratio for exclusive cards allowing loyal players to use the offer without the sacrifice of IRL obligations. At the same time it would not allow exclusive content to spread in unappropriately large amounts.
