“This is June with the news from Clint City. Witnesses have spotted a mysterious, mauve creature devouring buildings not far from the Vortex HQ. We ask you to remain vigilant. A further strange occurrence has taken place with sightings of the Piranas behaving in a very panicky manner and boarding many more ships than usual… One might almost say that all this unrest has somewhat sidelined Cosmos’s apocalyptic sermons...”
Clint City welcomes:
Barden, the Piranas’ dead-man-walking!

My favourite of the release is definitely Ford, wow can reduce opp damage alot
other cards well I do not like to play Piranas, Vortex got a consume ability that's nice too, however maybe I could imagine a nasty vortex with ability like +3 pillz and Sakrohm card is similar to Virginia
used the promo to get pack for free, thank you was lucky with Behemoth
Ford can be a big wall to overcome. At night and against a mono deck, he can reduce your opponent's tank down by 5 damage and he has the perfect min of 1. That can make any incoming damage almost nothing. He does have to face mono to get this amazing damage reduction, so most of the time, it will only be an average of -3 with his night bonus, which can still help you survive if needed. During the day he can be an 8/6 which for a 4 star is great. Either way, he has a slight advantage to help him win his fights, but a possible big or average way to put up a back-up plan. A great 4 star addition for the GhosTown that doesn't suffer from being too ability reliant.
Cosmos has the coveted SOA which already raises his usability up from the start. Unfortunately, it is paired with courage, making it hard to match him up with an ability you need to stop cause your opponent will see it coming. He has decent stats for a 4 star in the Sakrohm, and your opponent will have to pill at least once or twice to overcome his bonus. Not much else to say about him, he is just quick vanilla SOA for the clan. He may see some use.
C-Arib finally brings more Consume to the game. Good stats for a 4 star, and when played early, it can start draining your opponent's pillz with a nice min of 2. Combine that with the Vortex bonus, and you can keep up a decent pill gap and win in the end. His ability does make him predictable, as he will need to be played early to get the most out of him, and against SOA he hurts like most. A good addition and will see play.
Barden also brings an ability we rarely see, Dope. Starting early, he can give the Piranas even more pill manip, and his max is slightly better than Morphun's at 11. He has good stats for a 3 star and has great synergy with his clan. Most SOA won't touch him with his bonus, making it easier to avoid it, since against it, he loses mostly everything to him. Like C-Arib, once started with him, you could keep up a decent pill gap with your opponent and stay ahead. Like C-Arib, he is also predictable, needing to come out early for the most part. A great addition and will definitely see some play.
To see their abilities and final arts, check out Cruelty Incarnate!
My honest opinion about the new folks compared to what it replace in Z Palace.... (Barden not included)
C-Arib (Pill Manip)
It replace T-Gank which is kinda tie. Each one of them has its own speciality and it's just about playstyle preference to choose between the two. (I prefer C-Arib tho, cuz even if your power and dmg is reduceable you can still play it and get most of it by gain control over the pillz. While T-Gank is just a seamingly unstoppable force to crush your opp. and not much else, Still good tho)
Replace Powaqa which is nice for +1*. Ford did not only replace a card position but also the overall deck building probabilities for GhostTown in Z Palace format.. I don't know.. but my guess is it maybe to spice-up and/or balance out the Butcher Braxton combo. x2 5* and one of them is BB is pain in the *ss to encounter.
Replace Rhamsay for good... but not to good. Just.. a plain no brainer for staff to make. I might be wrong.. the "courage" may had gone several thinking process and debate. It doesn't matter tho. We still have Formalhout LD. All that matter is that it get rid that hardly to use 5/7 (life gain) card. (i like Rhamsay, did several 2HKO with it, but he's is just that predictable and easy to counter)
