roots are awesome for survivor. gheist too; any SOA messes with many decks' strategies, but a whole wall of it?
Roots have the added bonus of many mediocre 5* so you'll likely be going second a lot of the time in T2.
One year later, what is the new meta for Survivor?
Like what are the three most used decks, I could image:
- Robert Cobb decks
- Attack Manipulation with Damage reducers (eg. Sakhrom with Pussycats)
- Counter decks (eg. Raptors with Frozn)
Good old Hive+Sakrohm is still relevant
I´ve been seeing Robert Cobb decks but i am not sure about their succes rate. (+ i have probablly personally displeasure in those decks)
Roots, nightmare, gheist and vortex are pretty common and strong. The rest i barely see or have no problem with them.
More of a prediction of the meta change...
Komboka decks in the next 6 weeks once they settle and have 10 cards.
I have a feeling the first cards will be similar to GhosTown Staff will aim to create ones for Survivor to allow them to transition followed by some EFC cards.

Okay, considering the Hardcore Survivor mission; which do you think can reach 15 wins???
- Leader with Pussycats and Sakrohm
- Leader with Pussycats and Komboka (due to mission quest for Survivor)
- Leader with GHEIST
I'm no Survivor pro and I overpill all the time for this mode I hate it! lol!
Need your opinion on which is superior amongst the three. Also possible tips on how to use the cards would be nice.
My personal answer: None (On their own)
You are allowed to change your decks in between matches if you did not know. Most avoid it because they have success with one deck and have a feeling they are sure to win the next one. That is fine too as I have heard of great players who can win with one deck. That's not me unfortunately.
If you adjust your decks in between consecutive matches, then it might be possible to get 15.
The issue in my opinion is that you have 10 cards being drawn. So if you have a strong card that is sensitive to something such as SOA or DR protectors such as Uranus, it might be inevitable to run into Roots or GHEIST eventually.
Likewise, if you only use GHEIST, you run the risk of running against Skeelz.
From experience, most players I see frustrated by deck losses tend change their clan choice if they feel a lot of the opponents are using say GHEIST, Raptors, #Mono-Bangers, Rescue, Nightmare
The ones you identified are common deck styles minus the Komboka one but, I can explain
Leader with Pussycats and Sakrohm
The Leader card is likely to be Vholt or John Doom. Reason being to achieve that -4 Opp. Damage, Min 1.
However watch out for SOA or Mr Big Duke decks.
Leader with GHEIST
If you do not have No Love, Rolph, XU52, #XU Kr4ng, maybe this option might not be for you.
Ambre works well with Rolph to potentially create a 10 vs 4 Power situation (if your opponent uses Fuzz, Sekutor, Miss Sloane). Even so 10 Power vs 7 Power is unforgiving.
The goal is to increase Power with Power reducers since your opponent (unless they have Stop or are Skeelz) only have Bonuses to work with.
Watch out for others using similar decks to you. The reason why I suggest having No Love is cause if against GHEIST, its base stats vs base stats.
Others you might want to consider:
Hugo + Raptors.
Modify your Own attack while protecting the modifiers. Works against Uppers.
Raptors have 3 great cards that are cheaper compared to Death Adder (Rex Sweig, #Impera Sloane and Scarlacc)
Otherwise, not much I can help you on this.
