Do we have a much higher likelyhood of drawing this card as opposed to other Leader cards in battle when we use a raindbow deck?
Because what is the point of having this card and using rainbow decks if there is only 12.5% (1/ chance of drawing him? It would be a good card if you could draw him in at least 50% of your battles.
Tbh...not that great card. For all the already above posted reasons.
I mean the chances of pulling him in a Rainbow deck are low and super risky if u r on a High Survivor Score...If you are on any Survivor Score.
Trying to use him in half decks isn't practical at all or any format of decks in EFC.
Maybe in Tourney one could use him with low star staples and make a decent deck but again...The chances if him coming in ur hand 12.5%
Not a practical ability tbh.
Only the stats are a saving grace and his practicality in some situations otherwise....meh.
Ps: And I am cool with the Leaders being available in the Packs cause at least they would be more available to the newer and lower level players. Makes sense.
@Trollzard: Don't know if this is technically possible. Maybe something similar to Vansaar in Training Rooms. As soon as you have him in the deck and play in the training room, you always draw Vansaar.
Maybe you can do this for Fightclub with Cobb. But nowhere else please!
But putting on a certain percentage for drawing him... hmmm. Sounds impossible atm.
In the old ELO, players could get Leader cards as the random rare for those who scored above 1200 ELO. It did explain Leader Duplicates in the past.
You`ll be surprised, the probability of drawing Robert Cobb is not 12.5% in a 8 card deck. It is actually 50%.
That 12.5% is a common misconception of probability when you look at the odds of an individual card being pulled out in your deck.
There is actually 50% for Robert Cobb to appear out of the 70 possible combinations of hands you can pull in an 8 card deck.
1 - ((7/8*6/7*5/6*4/5)) = P Robert Cobb.
*((7/8*6/7*5/6*4/5)) This number represents the probability of not drawing Robert Cobb at all.
That number is 4/8.
Therefore the chances of drawing Robert Cobb in an 8 card deck is not 12.5%. It is actually 50% considering an overlap, which is true for every card in that 8 card deck.
Serious maths, but yeah.
Robert Cobb is a balanced leader made to be allowed in z palace and he is supposed to be balanced otherwise everyone would use him.
And how the hell is getting a card in your hand 12.5%, are you playing a 32 card deck? or you have a 8 card deck and draw only one?
If you have a 8 card deck and you draw 4 you get 12.5% to get a card for every card in your hand, 12.5% * 4 = 50%
I really hope this cards stays as it is or gets an ability change, previous weekend playing in efc against 9/8 Mr Big Duke was a nightmare
I agree with you Hatinn. However I placed my mathematical theory up in a different way to explain why the odds of drawing Robert Cobb is 50%.
Never mind the maths. I think the pack chance really gives a good chance to pull out a Leader for the lower level players. I would be indifferent to be honest.
If you want me to explain that maths formulae, maybe when I have time.

I made to 10 (and it could have been higher with a bit more attention the last match) using a 31111 + Robert Cobb : )
This way i was almost sure to have 2 cards with the bonus active, or the leader activating everything : ) it was fun : )
