The French Community Cup have their players already. So far, nobody is in yet for the EN Community or any other community besides the French Community.
Chaos has taken screenshots for reference when selecting the players for the event.

I received my invite as the lucky EFC Player with the following

Hello Rowdy MOB Cr,
You took part in EFC last week. The season just ended : here are your final results:
You are 390th of Z palace with 1503 ELO.
You won :
- clintz : 60000
- Tokenz Gold : 5
- Tokenz Silver : 5
Good luck for the next season!
Yep, I did panic at first because I was unsure if I could qualify for the Community Cup because that is a low score, but I did anyway.

But I do not really care for the new or old approach to be honest. As long as it is under control and reasonable, anything is fine with me. Even last year, we had players who are not prominent on the EN Forums from other communities play to represent the EN Community.
The new approach is nice in the sense that the element of luck is not in the form of one group having a clear winner due to weak players. I felt was unfair in the sense the weaker players would obviously lose and some players get the easy way to qualify. I am skeptical in the sense it was identified 0SS (Old School Spirit) had 6 players as participants for the EN Community cup and was the FR representative guild for the Community Cup.
Of course to speak to those who liked the old style better, it gave players a chance to rise to fame in their community.
I personally think a prominent member in the FR Community can represent the EN Team in Community Cup provided they can speak fluent English.
"You can’t enter a qualifier event if you don’t know the proper language.
If you are a french player and you put a spanish flag, without knowing spanish language, you will be eliminated.
However, if you can speak both spanish and french at a good level, you can join one of the 2 qualifiers at your choice (by choosing the appropriate flag)."
The exception being the Middle Europe Qualifier which has a different set of rules from my understanding:
The Middle europe qualifier will be hosted in english language, being formed of multiple communities.
If you are from other countries (like for example Belgium or Sweden) and you can speak english, you can join this qualifier.
THIS QUALIFIER IS MEANT FOR PLAYERS OF COMMUNITIES DIFFERENT THAN THE OTHER 7.
The moderators of each community will check the players of this qualifier before the start. If for example you are a well known french player and you will try to join this event by putting a EU flag, you will be eliminated.
However opinions aside, I expect messages to be sent to me in English by any player in the EN CC who has to challenge me.
Just a question : if the french guys give you the big win, would you still said " oh god so much french, that's not good " ? There's a few french guys qualifying in the Portugal CC, and nobody's crying. Just an event, everyone for himself, and good luck.
This is a community event, supposed to be from people from the English community who you've spoken to thousands of times. If you guys win this season I am sitting here like: Oh we won the community cup with being the FRENCH COMMUNITY B team, something I won't be proud of as community
