A great release today
Mago is a simple card with decent stats for a 4 star. In the Freaks, however, his stats are much better. He has the stable power of 8 which is always good. His damage is a little on the lower side, but with his bonus in play, the Freaks have never been too dependent on their damage. He can also shut down any power manips, hopefully keeping the field even or to his advantage. Nothing much else to say about him. He is only a common and there are better 4 stars in the clan.
Bros is can be a fun card to use. His stats are decent for a 4 star, and, of course, his bonus helps with his life gap capability. He can also get a strong attack manip at -16 on the right occasion. If you are facing a lot of mono decks somewhere, you can definitely add Bros in. You will mostly average on the -8 option of their ability which will always be helpful. It does slightly outperform the Sakrohm bonus. He has some competition for the 4 star spot, but he will probably see some play.
To Be Continued...
SpartaK can be a devastating card. A 12/7 coming at you is very hard stand up against alone. The massive power, however, comes with a pretty hefty caveat. First, it is based on equalizer, so a 2 or 3 star will have an easier time facing her. She still has 8 power against 3 stars, so it will come down to other manips in play. The other way to face her is just to SOA her and push her aside. 2 power is getting you nowhere, and your 5 star tank just got destroyed. Her home will always be in T2 facing only 5 stars and fearing the occasional SOA.
Nero is the star, of course, giving the Nightmare their big card. His stats are near max at 8/8 which fits any 5 star perfectly. He can also steal your bonus and use it for himself with his combination of bonus and ability. At the very least, you and your opponent will come to a raw pill fight with you canceling their bonus and your opponent cancelling your ability. An 8/8 in a raw pill fight? Good luck unless you are also using a raw stat card. This card will probably push the Nightmare into more use for awhile and will see lots of play.
