As a token of apology for the issues we had during the end of the Season 19, caused by this update, we sent to EVERY active player of the past week a gift of 18.000 CryptoCoinz and 50 Credits.
The new EFC season kicks off today!
Start date: 05/11
End date: 02/12
A little update to the list of EFC bans could take place later in the week. Stay tuned!
Weekly Z Palace top 10 card reward: McLain (Week 1, 2), Crook (Week 3, 4)
Following our latest EFC rehaul, we have a new update:
- The EFC zones are now twice as extensive
- Points you lose in the event of inactivity will be doubled
These changes are designed to help experienced Z Palace players find suitable opponents, as the more points you have, the harder it is to move up.
New players will also be in a better position to easily find players of their own level.
With the soft reset, the route to Z Palace had become a bit too short and as a result, some players were able to reach it after having only played a few hours a week.
We want Z Palace to be a bit more exclusive and difficult to reach, and this update is aimed at doing just that.
Now over to you to try it out!
I can´t say I get the point of that comment.
Here´s an example, if that makes it easier to understand:
There´s a push ups competition.
You do 10, you get 1€
you do 25-39, you get 2€
you do 40-69, you get 3€
you do 70-99, you get 7€
you do 100+. you get 20€
Now, there´s a guy name A who does 29 push ups. According to the table, he gets 2€ . Another guy, B, does 41 push ups. Once again, we go to the table to see how much he gets: 3€. The staff of that event, due to a lapse, only gives him 2€. One other guy, C, does 41 push ups as well. Again, the staff only gives him 2€. C doesn´t find it fair. As such, he asks for an explanation from the staff. The staff apologizes and as a reward for their lapse they give 1 € to everyone. B is radiant. "I got what I deserved, I got what I deserved", he said. On the other hand, C, is everything but happy. Why? Because although he got 4€, which was what he deserved in the first place, everyone else got one extra €, so in reality, C still got the same as the guy who did 29 push ups.
In this hypothetical story, if we were to be someone, I´d be C and you B. In the end, do you think both me and C don´t have the right to complain? If so, good for you, cuz I don´t )
Well yes.. I somehow miss the legend pack (or the Z palace pack - not sure about my position in the end), instead of them we have got the Polit pack. Others got what they deserved plus the compensation, some of us are still behind. It was easier to do this than finding those who got the wring price at the end of the season.
You are right, but I think you should let it go. It would be too difficult to undo it, too many angles to cover. The compensation is very generous, although the whole thing seems to me not like a glitch, but a planned sabotage. [Although if everyone who used to be Z Palace by the old rules gets reset at 3000, then the whole thing is pointless, since they wanted to make Z Palace more exclusive again]
Thanks staff. Nice initiative to compensate. People getting same rewards for lower ranks is bad but its nitpicking in my eyes. Especially the generous crypto given which gives me more than my rank would.
I believe one should look at what he was initially going to get and what he got rather than looking at how much other guys played and got etc. As long as im getting what i should i don't have a problem people getting same rewards as a one-off. Donst spite xd
There are going to be people that are still upset and frankly they are right to be. Those that value the honor of competition have been harmed in a way that can't be undone. It was really really obvious to anyone who plays this game that making such a change (bugs or not,) on the last day of an EFC season was a horribly unfair idea. How anyone could've arrived at such a decision is truly beyond me.
The compensation, on the other hand, was BIG.
And so to all of those who still feel robbed of their honorable efforts in the name of competition and being ranked and compensated in accordance with their skill... which a financial gift does not make whole again... I say consider the large size of the gift to not just be currency but also an apology.
I am a competitive person. I am 31 years old... played sports my entire life. My father taught me never to cheat. He taught he that even silly little games can teach values that are important in life.
He also taught me how to accept an apology. Because that is also honorable.
Bravo to the UR team -- I think this was expertly handled!
It's inevitable that things go wrong from time to time, especially in the process of making big changes to the game. The problem was quickly repaired and everyone who was effected received a generous compensation. It may not be 100% perfect for everyone, but it is a fair solution put forth by hard-working people.
