Hello UR players!
Today’s update revolves entirely around Leaders.
Thanks everyone for joining the last poll about this subject!
Option 3 won with a large margin, receiving more than 50% of the total votes.
Option 3: To divide the leaders in two sets: one set of leaders free in Tourney and EFC that will be constantly kept under control and re-equilibrated (just like LD cards), and a second set of leaders banned in tourney and EFC but stronger in order to have an impact in Survivor.
Following your advice, this is exactly what we did, starting today:
- Set 1 (Leaders meant mostly for Survivor):
Ambre (Ability Maximum removed)
Ashigaru (No need for changes)
Bridget (No need for changes)
Hugo (Base stats modified from 7-5 to 7-6)
John Doom (No need for changes)
Morphun (Ability Maximum increased from 10 to 11)
Mr Big Duke (Base stats modified from 9-4 to 9-5)
Vholt (No need for changes)
- Set 2 (Leaders meant mostly for Tourney and EFC):
Eklore (Ability Minimum increased from 2 to 6)
Eyrik (Base stats modified from 8-5 to 7-4, ability minimum reduced from 5 to 4 )
Melody (Base stats modified from 7-7 to 6-8, pillz recovery reduced from 1/2 to 1/3)
Solomon (Base stats modified from 8-7 to 8-6)
Timber (No need for changes)
Robert Cobb (No need for changes)
Vansaar (No need for changes)
All the Leaders from the Set 2 are now free to be used both in Tourney and EFC.
We will observe closely the impact of these changes, and the Leaders may be tweaked further next Monday.

I was hoping for Hugo to have Team: +7 Attack just like in the past (He still had 5 Damage at the time when his ability was Team: +7 Attack), but otherwise, it should be fine since he still works well with Montana and Raptors with Team: Attack +6
Pillz wise, I think Eklore is no longer a good option for these -X Pillz weekly missions with a minimum of 6, but regardless, Pillzinator should do the trick.
As for Ambre having no maximum, I think it seems fair. I feel as a Leader card, she is overshadowed by the more prominent counters such as Cancel Power Modifier and the existence of John Doom. It also makes things simple, especially when it comes to Copy: Power where the copied power was treated as base damage when Ambre had a maximum.
While Ashigaru removes John Doom`s advantage while boosting Ambre every turn, it is hard to explain this idea in my own words personally speaking.
For Morphun, he does need the maximum, especially to regulate him in conjunction with the attack modifier clans and cards, specifically: Uranus, GraksmxxT Mt, Maurice Lady, Mokra, Hydraereva, Raam, who in my opinion can pressure opponents to play Pillz and heavily reduce damage. (Maybe not Mokra DR wise, but he has a similar effect).
The rest, not much to say about them.

Melody still pairs well with Vortex and Riots. She may be less of a threat to win a round now, but when pillz missions show up, she's still great in a t1 deck.
Of course, with Melody's change, I'd probably go Morphun if trying to gain pillz in T2.
I like the effort.
Very excited to see Eklore and Eyrik DT-viable now
Kinda sad Hugo leaves to surv now, i was expecting him to be nerfed to +4 attack or something but truth be told he'd still be OP with Montana so probably right thing to say goodbye to him in DT.
