So there are a lot of cards that are banned at the moment in the EFC format. I was thinking maybe to release all of them, and let the top 25-50 or whatever number that are player banned stay banned permanently. We could do it over the course of three or so months, and the cards most frequently banned get the axe. Personally, I'd love to see Vickie Cr back in EFC after nearly 10 years of being banned. IMO 7 power just isn't where its at anymore when the goal is 9. Personal opinions aside, I think seeing so many cards banned outright in T1, T2 and EFC it'd be nice to be able to use my collection for a little bit. Yes, this would benefit the most affluent players more than the rest, but EFC already does that. I mean there are just so many cards out there that I'd love to see in competitive modes again, but they're banned in all three formats and if I want to play them I need to run a 10 card deck in survivor mode. I've been on this game for over 10 years and have amassed a serious collection over time, and I'm betting I could get the old schoolers on my side here. Give players more votes so that they could spread them out over however many cards the staff would allow, and let the people decide. I know a lot of players who have put a lot of money into this game, me being one of them, and I'd absolutely love the chance to use my collection in the competitive formats. Just an idea. Comments and concerns are appreciated.
This EFC format election really is democratic than aristocratic, players easily ban cards that they don't like. I think the it should be in the mods hands to ban cards and not the players since players more often than not just ban cards according to preference and not the overall game's balance play.
Set for example Slade and Lehane of Sentinel, how does 8/2 2* cards whose stats and abilities are balanced get the ban? Because they piss alot of people who don't play Sentinel? Geeez I hope this gets addressed, the bans just divide cards that more people want to play than establish more balance in the game.
Sentinels are getting thr hate since they quickly became the top T1 deck, and they are still gettng great cards. They got so much love so ffast that made the previous ttle holders irrelevant. And it is not a surprise that those cards domnate efc as well. Well yeah you need the tech cards more in efc but stll powerhouse of cards especially the 2 drops.
Sentinel have so many good mono cards, and having an 8-2 -4 DR that requires 2 pillz to beat is kind of ridiculous. Lehane has a similar thing where the card is really hard to beat simply due to it's solid nature. With the other Pill wasting cards that sentinel has, either of these 2 cards would make the deck way too consistent.
