Hello everyone.. so i've been playing EFC lately and i found out that lots of players leave matches after they find themselves in a sticky situation or in an already lost match and i find it really unfair play towards the winning one. I understand that they don't like to "lose time" but in this way they prive the winner of the satisfaction that he played a good match, also takes away from completing missions. I think that something should be changed about it, for example taking away an extra 10 points to the player who abandons, and i'm sure in that case not a single one of those grinding efc players would ever leave a match again.
To the crybabies who will read this... grow some balls and accept a loss, move on and go for a win in the next match, everyone can lose and everyone can win, be humble about it and respect the opponent player.
I don't recall calling names any of the players involved here. I'm not here to criticize your opinion or anyone else's, i opened this thread to see what the players in this community think about this matter and to discuss about it. I can see lots of them feel called upon same as you izy. I see it in my own way when someone simply leaves a game.. also i didn't mention those players who simply close the app without abandoning.. thus making the winning player wait for a couple of minute for the timer to finish his counting, do you also think this is good behaviour? if you do then you're the one trolling for whatever reasons you might have, probably boredom but that's your problem.
And i'm not crying about people leaving games, i actually laugh at them because they can't accept a loss, it happens to all of us.
Professional sport taught me to never give up even when the odds are mathematically against you, but please tell me more about your thoughts of sports mentality, i'm curious to hear about it
Does anybody actually care about THAT though? I've never gave a damn about the "intensity" of my battle report, it could say just win or lose and I'd be satisfied. You win or you learn? Obviously dude. The first time I got OHKOd by kylorene was the last time i got OHKOd by him. What a redicuolous argument to have, I feel that your the sore loser here, grasping at straws.
Dude you are truly like arguing with a wall. Let me try to explain what you can't understand:
"Professional sport taught me to never give up even when the odds are mathematically against you": Here the odds are 100% of losing vs 0% of winning, the match is already decided, and even if your opp could timeout or misclick, the right thing to do (as you said) is accept your defeat and give him the points
"I don't recall calling names any of the players involved here. I'm not here to criticize your opinion or anyone else's" and "I can see lots of them feel called upon same as you izy.": This is your previous message "I think most of you should use the mentality of either you win or either you learn, because the majority of people who wrote here look to me like sore losers who think they are better than anyone else and that if they lost it was only by pure luck of the opponent, so therefore they leave and negate it ever happened."
I don't know how to explain it anymore, this isn't a professional sport, this is a strategy game. When you leave the match you accept your defeat, learn from it and move on to the next match. Like Izy said, single matches here aren't important, this isn't boxing where you prepare yourself 6 months for a match, here matches last 5 minutes they end and nobody cares about them, it's all about score and ranking. You wanted to hear others people opinion, we understand your sports background but you don't seem to understand strategy games
That's the other reason for this not to be taken too seriously- connection issues. wouldn't be fair to penalise people with dookie internet. i never forfeit myself, and yet i dont have 100% fair play because of my connection lagging out.
