Hello everyone.. so i've been playing EFC lately and i found out that lots of players leave matches after they find themselves in a sticky situation or in an already lost match and i find it really unfair play towards the winning one. I understand that they don't like to "lose time" but in this way they prive the winner of the satisfaction that he played a good match, also takes away from completing missions. I think that something should be changed about it, for example taking away an extra 10 points to the player who abandons, and i'm sure in that case not a single one of those grinding efc players would ever leave a match again.
To the crybabies who will read this... grow some balls and accept a loss, move on and go for a win in the next match, everyone can lose and everyone can win, be humble about it and respect the opponent player.
It does make sense because DT is a mode where time matters, and leaving a game on first or second round knowing you will lose anyway will spare some time and is actually part of the strategy, plus i know there's lots of players who like to mess around and prolong the game as much as they can and wait for the timer to be close to 0 to send their card, in the meanwhile they pull your leg by sending emots (it happened to me many times so i know what i'm saying) with the top 5-10 players who are battling for spots.
EFC is different because it lasts 2 weeks, not 1 hour so i think it should be more focused on thinking about your next move and building a winning strategy rather than throw cards and pillz randomly
You're missing my point.
You talk about fair play: leaving a game in DT affects your opponent's overall ranking more than leaving a game in EFC [where forfeits don't affect the ranking whatsoever]
Leaving a game in DT is fundamentally unfair on your opponent. [even if it has a strategic advantage for you]
"prolong the game....with the top 5-10 players who are battling for spots." - no top five player is going to stall if they're losing during a DT. they'll just take the loss [asap] and move on.
I understand that my opponent would win more points by winning more rounds but i think that wouldn't be really competitive from my side because gifting points to someone you're battling against is not really a smart move if you can actually not give them to him by leaving, so you're helping yourself by making him not gain those points. In EFC you don't take from your opponent anything, you only spare some time of your life, but i rather choose not to spare it and be respectful than appear like a crybaby who can't accept the ending result of the game.
So in conclusion: leaving in DT is still unfair to your opponent but it's part of the game, in EFC leaving is an irrelevant component of the game and it shows what kind of player you are in my perspective (maybe it is not for those who play UR the entire day so they get to play 320 games instead of 300)
I will try to remember you in EFC and respect you with thinking very careful about each round to make sure I can give you maximum time of respect
Leaving games doesn't impact "fairplay" score. It is only impacted by timed-out games. So, you are not even sore loser who leaves DT games to steal points from your opponents, but you are timing out these games to waste opponents time as well. And you are speaking about "respect" ? Pathetic.
Oh i wasn't trying to get people to get personal with me, everybody can do mistakes, i'm not a saint who never did anything wrong and i can openly say it, it's not a problem for me... (if someone is a murderer by your logic he can't think or say murder is bad?).
Saying i'm pathetic is a different kind of level of arguing, it's not pointed toward a mass of people who do something but your sentence is pointed toward me and my playstyle and i don't think you have the right to judge me because i didn't judge you or anyone in particular and i'm not here to be judged as a player, i simply was trying to talk about a common pattern in players.
Thank you for showing what kind of person you are (Try finding a girlfriend, might help you in your negative life) and remember the next time you will lose to me (because you already did a couple of times) i will be laughing at you. Ciao!
Your playing a double game sporty.
You want people to get penalize in elo for leaving a match they already lost. But at the same you do the exact same thing in tournament and survivor.
You accuse people for name calling you and says they shouldn't do so. But at the same time you do the exact same thing. Izy only pointed a statement that shows how this whole post is a double edged sword. He didn't name call you at all, so how's does it make it right for you to begin to say the fowling thing. That Izy should "ry finding a girlfriend, might help you in your negative life".
Dude your english grammar is bad, my brain freezed from reading your post... i get it you're trying to defend your buddy but maybe try harder next time.
I know danish people are smarted than that so i'm guessing you're the smallest minority over there?
"if someone is a murderer by your logic he can't think or say murder is bad?"
This is NOT the issue you are presenting. You are saying "leaving is okay in DT but should be penalised in EFC." That is the equivalent of saying "murdering someone with a gun is fine but if you use a knife you should be imprisoned."
'Try finding a girlfriend, might help you in your negative life"
lmao. I don't even have anything to respond to this other than this is a point that a narrow-minded ten year old with inferior intelligence would present when they are proven wrong.
"your english grammar is bad, my brain freezed from reading your post"
Again. See above. You're arguing with the way a point is delivered rather than replying to the substance of the topic. Grow up.
PS: your last two posts have a combined total of nine grammatical errors at a quick glance.
L:ke I said, I don't care much about single fights, but main result, i'm pretty sure anyone who is active in EFC have won against me multiple times
If you are judging and calling names "mass of people", i'm pretty sure I can judge your actions by same principles. Maybe not, i don't know, i'm not a saint
And facts hurt the most, so, I guess your random insults towards me is acceptable in this situation
