After several months of researching the subject, in particular the drawing up of a fully binding set of rules, we can finally confirm that e-sport is coming to Urban Rivals!
And an extra incentive has been added to the competition in EFC mode: a Ca$hPrize!
On an ad-hoc basis, we’ll activate the EFC mode “Ca$hPrize”, that will regroup several seasons and will reward the best players with real money.
You’ll receive all the details about this very soon, as the first season is set to kick off on April 6th for the 16th EFC season!
The T&Gs will also be updated as cash prizes can only be awarded to players over the age of 16.
So, what are you waiting for? The EFC mode is now open, so go get ready!!
You’re sure to see a few reminders about it over the coming days...
In the meantime, happy gaming!

This is what we've been waiting for
few more tweaks and we are good to go!
here are my personal opinions
Integrate blockchain tech to Urban Rivals. then we're talking.
Problem 1
once you buy credits and start pulling booster packs, who actually own those cards. the players or Booster? let the player feel that the cards they bought are theirs alone!
Problem 2
Build an Exchange system that would allow players to sell their Cards Via Digital assets. you can create one thru Dapps ( Decentralized application Particularly Ethereum or Ontology)
make the players feel that their hard earned is money invested in UR cards are in-exchangeable with real world assets thru peer to peer trade, or market auction(Dutch auction) or market exhcange.
Once every player , feel that the cards they bought with real money are theirs, then you will see an increase in sales, Thru blockchain tech. every copy of cards produced are seen thru a public ledger, including it's rarity and exclusivity.
integrate BLOCK CHAIN and you might get a chance to be the next,MTG,YU Gi Oh, Pokemon.
Popular card games will soon follow.Check out God's Unchained
take the chance and innovate!
PS. Been here since 2008, Shout out to OG's, can't watch this game slowly dying because of lack of innovation.

It's a digital product, we don't own anything in this game. What you're saying might make a few people feel good about "owning" what their money has given them, but from a legal standpoint if opens massive cans of worms for UR.
No other video game allows you to own what you purchase in game. LoL - you don't own the skins or the characters, even MTGA which is another card game, you don't own the cards.
Like all intellectual property, we give the company money to enjoy getting to use the product, but we don't own it. No more than we own a movie we paid to watch at the theatres.

The main point of integrating blockchain tech is to solve this can kind of problem. We are in a digital age, and will continue evolving. Look at digital banking.
You say this is a digital product, therefore it is time for UR to convert their products into digital assets. What is the purpose of buying digital products if it's not yours, and you cannot trade it into real life products.
Your anology itself is what hinders UR from making more money.
Take this seriously, if avid collectors see that they can make real money out of collecting digital cards, would they not spend more? And why play this game if the cards you get have no real value. Even E SPORTS items are bought and sold in the open market via digital assets. Look at dota 2 skins,Counter strike Skins.
UR need cash, they need to add value to each and everyone one of us.
"Like all intellectual property, we give the company money to enjoy getting to use the product, but we don't own it. No more than we own a movie we paid to watch at the theatres."
Intellectual property protects the innovator while as copyright protects authors.
Buying a digital copy of a movie from the creator makes us the owner of the movie, why go to theaters if you can buy a copy yourself.

At the end of the day, UR has to make a decision.
Adapt or die

@Sad -
I am getting the impression you are trying to sell us on blockchain more than on how to improve the game LOL

Hey UR, I love your game and all, but if you are going to make a push for e-sports and making the game more popular, you should consider correcting the many spelling errors in the game and fix some of the visual bugs such as power/damage not displaying correctly, pills/health not lighting up some of the time when a status occurs.
