So I'm playing in EFC this morning (made it into the Danger Zone) and I lost a match after losing only one round.

Opponent puts up Charlie CR and overpillz against my Anthony. The rest of their deck consists of DR so even with a fury I lose the round.

Thoughts on this? Is this overpowered or did I just get really unlucky?

Always count how many dmg points you're able to deal after he wins that specific round with a fury, think ahead.. many players focus on that specific round but you need to take the entire picture in consideration, what will happen if he does that or if i do this?

I'm not sure you ever played Fantasy Rivals when it was around but I remember winning all four rounds using the Alliance faction and I STILL lost the match ! My opponent was using the Spectre faction, which had powerful defeat cards.

My point being of course that some decks are built to win just one round and preserve the lead with the other three.

Think if you were using a deck other than pure damage based. -life, +life, poison, heals. You might have been fine.

And I wouldn't consider them overpilling on Charlie if it won them the game.

Yeah i did this with a freaks deck and a pussy deck its all luck of the draw your games are based on a coin toss. One soa or sob and you'll lose but if theres non of that its an easy gg all in + fury on Oren 3* or Twyh there 14 15 life gaps and having to penetrate through the likes of 3* Wolfgang Soushee and a splashed 2* Deebler becomes a tough task. Its fun for a bit but its not viable long term strategy
