You can now use special code to auto-link to stuff in the various places on the site where you can input text (forums, biographies, comments etc..).
To link to a player, use "playerLAYER_ID", for example here is a link to raven (his player id is: 111882): ravvel
To link to a guild, use "guild:GUILD_ID", for example here is a link to the fairplay guild (guild id is: 1420): Fairplay
Finally, to link to a preset, use "presetRESET_ID", for example, here is a link to "the way of music" (preset id is: 6): deleted
Characters names and Clans names are still linked automatically as usual.
Enjoy your week end!
I'll try to make it more clear, if you go to a player page, or a guild page, or a preset page, you'll see something like "?id...=A_NUMBER".
Remember (or copy) this number, it's the ID of the element in the website.
Then, in any text you are can write on the site (bio, forum post, comment post etc..) .
If it's a player, type player:ID and it'll create a nice link to the player like mine for example (my ID is 3057): Fraggle
If it's a guild, type guild:ID, for example Fairplay.
And finally, for a preset, type preset:ID, for example: deleted
If the player name change, it'll reflect the new name (not immediatly).
Nice, this will also make it a lot easier to find opponents in the unofficial tournaments. If the organizer uses this kind of link when writing the list of players we can automatically go to their page and save the time spent searching by nickname
let me try the new system to see if I got it
