My previous post was not in answer to this question, it was in regard to posts 8 and 9. although i sort of agree with post 8.
ok, my take on this is firstly: when the events were first introduced at level 60, i don't think that was as good, there weren't as many that i could find for english speakers. i was level 29 at the time. when the event level was moved down to 40, i started EVO-ing like crazy to get up there, because that was a realistic short term goal, and i could make a profit if i sold just one of the higher class leaders. kiwi is right in general, i don't want it to go back up, because then i wouldn't be able to make events anymore, but i would understand if it did (sort of. i wouldn't understand how they did it exactly.)
but the level should not go down. and having a large collection is a worse standard than level, because with level you have to put in some effort. with a large collection or many credits bought (the second generally links to the first), there isn't much involved unless you are one of those people like, say, hornetz, who hasn't bought credits (not the last i heard) and who had to really work for their collection.
and i do think that there are too many generic events, t2 smashes (fun, but...), t1 smashes, ELO skillfests and flounderers, anything goes (double marco, really? fail). but some of the more interesting events are ones like mine (i would like to think so, certainly), Pack Wars , and i know i'm not the only person who is under the level requirement kiwi is suggesting but over level 40 who has some imagination/creativity.
but oh well, kiwi has a lot of good points, mphdragon or whatever his name is less so.
