It was during recent work on the new Clint City subway line that the underground shelter, housing Riotspolis, was drilled apart. This Utopian city, dreamt up by wise men at the turn of the century, could now wave goodbye to its tranquility and isolation. Unsurprisingly upset by this turn of events, the Riotsville Council, led by the Patriarch Pericles, decided that the time had come for them to at last emerge from their isolation and impose their “wise rulings” on this barbaric bunch of hoodlums inhabiting the surface.

His name comes from the term, couture, which is the business of making, customizing and selling women's clothes (which he's doing in his art.)

No offense Ayii, but I'd like to correct you, because neither "Dr" or "De" are elements of the periodic table.

I'm going to post a review on this card, but I first want to address the people complaining about new card prices which seems like a common complaint on a lot of the riots cards. Stop. Every new card ever that has come out in UR started high, and evened out to its true price over the next couple weeks. Why waste every ones time complaining about it.
This review will be using ELO mode perspectives, because to me that's where the balance and strategy is at its highest.
De Couture:
In elo mode you have 14 life. Rarely do you get knocked out, and its often not just who won 2 rounds, but who won 2 rounds with the biggest swing. This isn't always the case, but it is the average. Most of the time you'll have a 5 star be doing your biggest swing, but its cards like De couture that can change the life gap just as good as any 5 star. On revenge the total life swing is 8. With fury that can be 10.
Pros:
-great ability
-great bluff
-solid damage against soa
-great heal against DR
cons:
-7 power without any of his own manip can make it hard to get through.
-low damage for a 4 star
-Power reducers like all stars can really hurt him
overall 8/10, I'd give it a 9/10 if it had 8 power but maybe thats asking too much

@-FD-rb2008 - Veteran - THE FANTASY DKB!!!
El Mercurio = 7 pow , 4 dmg
De Couture = 7pow , 4dmg
El Mercurio = revenge : -4 opp life min 2
De Couture = eevenge: +4 life
either way they active their abilities with revenge and make an 8 life gap between you and your opponent.
El Mercurio = 1000 - 1800 clintz
De Couture = 8000 - 10000 clintz
Well the reason why De Couture's price is so high is
a) He is new
b) Part of the new clan
c) Could be needed for Coliseum
So obviously, De Couture's price will drop, never fear. In the next Riots release it will go below 4k and after a while when Riots start collecting dust it will be very affordable.

@JoeBobBlue
About your comment, furying one of them is a bit inneficient, if you saw my comment about Alexandria then you know that I love Norma. Still, +4 life is never a bad thing.
Oh, and uh Pericles outshines both of them

He and Alexandria are a great combo. Both are very affordable. And there are two ways to use the two:
1. Fury one of them for 2HKO.
2. Lose with Alexandria, leaving you with 11 health, then attack with De Couture. Opponent: 8 You: 15
The only downside is the amount of stars. You can still use it in ELO, but it will take up a lot of space. Just remember this fun combo for casual play and have fun. That's why this game was made, wasn't it?

De Couture has a stable power of 7 and a par damage of 4. The damage isn't that strong but his ability can be activated easily. For a 4-star card, this card is very useful. So cheap though. Should be more expensive.
