Far from the hurley burley of the beach volleyball matches, the Ulu Water cove is one of the region’s top fishing spots. But it is also one of its most dangerous! It’s hard to keep count of the number of experienced fishermen who’ve ended their days there in the belly of a flying shark or a brown markings killer whale. But enigmatic Pietro, who’s just turned up in his crumbly old boat, is disconcertingly good at keeping a low profile which allows him to catch incredibly rare idiot-fish that sell for 50,000 Clintz a go! But his best catch so far has undoubtedly been an ultra-rare specimen of squid-whale that he’s kept as his mascot!

+2 Life Per Damage
For each Damage inflicted by Pietro to the opponent at the end of a round, the player controlling the character will win 2 Life points at the end of the round.

Global warming has a devastating effect on the best spots: snow has become a rare commodity and waves are so violent they can't be surfed... And so the fight begins to urge the government to take into account environmental considerations or, at the very least, to build more skate-parks...

This guy can make a 9 life gap with fury.
He brings that life gap that Ulu Watu has always needed in their 2/3 stars.
He's ridiculously powerful when not stopped by SOA, SOB, or a DR.

If you don't mind that he's a high risk, high reward type of card rather than an all mighty wall like Dave or Fanny, he's the card for you!

Pietro is a reference to the old fisherman Santiago from the novel "The Old Man and the Sea" written by Ernest Hemingway.

Also, the name Pietro is Peter in Italian.
St. Peter is the patron saint for fishermen in Catholic belief.
I believe that is why he's named Pietro. smiley

Since there is no review here I will write a quick one:
Pietro is a nice card, and will always be a threat to your opponent, simply because of the potential 9 life gap he makes. In case you don't know the strategy with cards like these, it is best to save them for the last rounds of the game, when your opponent does not have as many pillz as you. And if the life gap is less than 9, then Pietro can win the game for you.
But Pietro has 4 glaring weaknesses:
    1) Must fury to gain a life gap of 9
    2) Heavily reliant on bonus, so if he is not in a mono deck then it is gamble
    3) Wrecked by SOA
    4) Wrecked by SOB (but not as hard as SOA)
If you can cope with these weaknesses, then Pietro may actually be a good 4th or 5th 2* choice for a mono Ulu Watu deck which needs to fit in many 4* and 5* cards

    a 7/1 with +2 Life
Imagine if there Jungo had a two star 7/1 with no ability

Add fury and you get a 7 powered two star card with a 9 life gap. 3 Damage + 6 Life.

Are you really going to add fury to this card?
I don't even plan Ulu Watu, but I know there have to be better cards to use fury on.

    SOA, SOB wrecked.

Playing with Ambre would help make this card viable, but why not use Ambre's ability on your strong Ulu Watu characters and get the opponent closer to being KO'd rather than building up life points

Would have been a good card if it had one more power

This card is pretty under rated. I mean, yes it is very vulnerable to SOA and DR's and power reducers, but his ability is still very scary if you don't have the mentioned abilities or bonuses to counter him. His power is 7 with bonus so what if it's considered bad in Ulu Watu standards? His ability can make a huge difference and actually help to win a match! 7 power is pretty common in other clans too for now. And he makes a damn good bluff too when used right.

    Pietro review;

Ability of +2 life per damage.
Artwork is weird, but in a good way.
2-star card, so takes less space in decks.

SoA kills his purpose and renders him useless.
5 power is average, but mostly on the weaker side.
    1 damage is horrible.
Has competition such as Bree, Eddie, Gaia, Nanook, etc.

Overall- 6/10. A weak card. Not that good.
