With the competition going down a storm, Amanie was obliged to increase her staff so as to improve the production rate of her little, hundred-year-old boutique! This was good timing for Mildred who needed a work placement to obtain her witch’s certificate. But despite all her good intentions, the young woman shone in her inability to read instructions or make a potion that didn’t explode in a colorful cloud of foul-smelling smoke. Finally in utter desperation Amanie gave Mildred the tricky job of delivering orders to customers. At least that way if something goes wrong, it will be outside her store!

Hey man, society is just so uncool! It's Babylon here. But, the Roots, right, they got it, they knew things couldn't keep goin' on that way; we have to make it real again. So, you know what the Roots did? They went to Babylon to tell the government that everything wasn't gonna be alright, man. But no one would listen to ‘em and that really messed with their minds!

Based off of Mildred Hubble, from the children's book series "The Worst Witch" I'm guessing, if her name and bio are anything to go by.

Mildred is loosely based upon Kiki from the Japanese animated fantasy film "Kiki's Delivery Service" (1989) by the famous Studio Ghibli. Kiki is a witch who has a a job of delivering goods by riding on a flying broomstick.

Actually shes an incredible 2 star heal card, unlike what the rest of the mainstream peeps are saying about her. In a poison / damage reduction deck she absolutely shines! UNLIKE TREEMAN she is a very soild 5 life gap card, many times a 6 life gap if played correctly. and UNLIKE TREEMAN when faced against another roots or gheist deck, she gets an extra +1 damage which can be incredibly CRITICAL in many games! I'm using her in my roots/freaks deck this week and I tell you what, she KICKS ASS!!! A 6-5 life cap with SOA to protect it is nothing to sneeze about in this game, especially when coupled with other great big hitters and damage reducers. 9.5/10

Mildred...she can handle my broomstick heh heh

I humbly take my hat off and apologise to this card for initially berating her, she is in fact a fantastic 2* that differs from the common Roots 2* staples by focusing on offence rather than defence.

Mildred's ability is actually alot better than it looks, by round 2 she has a heal better than Gretchen and even on round 3 she gives a whopping 3 life back the next turn, turning her into a 5 or 6 lifegap card for only 2*!! Add to that her decent power and this card certainly packs a punch when she needs to. The other great part about Mildred is the synergy with her own clan, meshing amazingly with the heavy defensive capabilities of cards like Curlix and Yookie.

She is definitely a staple in their mono and with both Arno and Flora out of ELO she takes the cake for the #1 2* in Roots, beating out Treeman through more damage vs SOA and the potential to gain more life than he ever could!. Don't forget that a fury with her in Round 2 creates an 8 life gap, definitely enough to sneak her through and even clinch a game.

Mildred is a blessing in disguise, providing Roots with a 2* that aside from creating large life gaps can also face off against opposing Roots and Gheist, basically a first for their 2* lineup!
    8/10!

A potential 7/5 or 7/6 2 star with SOA if used on the first three turns. Nuff said

    Mildred 7/2 growth: heal 1 max 11 & SOA

    - 7 power is okay
    - 2 damage on your 2* is pretty typical
    - Heal of 1/2/3 can be very useful.
    - Incredible synergy

    - typical roots weaknesses (power reduction and SoA, by me)

9/10. Mildred is flexible and incredibly useful. she's a winning Arno on round 3 (as she will heal 3 last round). Any card that can deal or gap at least 8 mixed with Mildred means your opp is looking for at last 14 damage to tie (rosen, furious Ellie, lou, kiki, kiki cr, ojibway, furious broody, others with fury). In type 1, Mildred is an eraser with jeena and arno (healing damage completely if they hit min). She only had two weaknesses: your opp gaining life instead of dealing damage and the fourth round. Both are usually avoidable, however.

Due to being Heal with max. 11, this is going to conflict with many Roots cards.

The Heal ability gives her +3 or 4 damage (if used on 1st / 3rd or 2nd round), which makes the ability a more situational version of Treeman's +3 Life.

She deals either 5 or 6 damage, as compared to Treeman's consistent 4. For a 2*, this is above average. For Heal/Poison type cards, this is below the curve (Ivy, Cyb Lhia, Freaks, Snowflake, Gretchen, Mina).

The problem is that if you use her on the first round, you will need to take 4 damage (ELO mode) on the 2nd round, or she ends up being Treeman (dealing 4 damage overall). As such, this might conflict with Roots' DRs like Flora and Yookie.

Not a terribly exciting release, fairly balanced. It has potential to be strong when used by a good player though.
