Despite the general ruthlessness of the fauna from the Lost World, there are some species that rather than using violence to survive, are very talented at going unnoticed or being uncatchable. Gum, the little dinosaur, combined both these abilities with his supersonic speed and minuscule stature, to the extent that he dared to steal from the clan’s fruit supplies and always managed to get away with it. However, the little dinosaur made the mistake of under-estimating Rex Sweig who, thanks to a well-placed trap, caught him as a gift for his wife who simply loves Jurassic curiosities. Trained in a meticulously cruel way and under the orders of his new mistress, it didn’t take long for the little frugivore to be transformed into a ferocious animal that, to Scarol’s great despair, was extremely fond of fresh dodo. His arrival in Clint City can only mean one thing… his mistress can’t be far behind.

When a plane taking prisoners from Clint City to a new jail mysteriously disappeared, the Government was quick to hush it up. The truth is that following a strange breakdown, the plane disappeared into thin air in the Saudi desert to later crash in a lost world where Jurassic wildlife still prospered. Forced to come together under the leadership of Clint City’s two most notorious criminals, the surviving prisoners battled against the hostile environment and ended up climbing the food chain. Now united under the name of the Raptors, the prisoners are back in town with lots of new “friends”. They know full well that their plane was sabotaged and no law is going to stop them in their quest for vengeance!

His level 1 is adorable, his level 2 is terrifying. Let's leave it at that.

As a 2*, 5 Damage is very, very high, with many 3* (and even 4*) not able to reach that much.
You'd think that with Pow = Pow, a card would be bad. No, not really. Look at Randy and Massiv: Two cards that with Bonus and ability active end up tearing a lot of cards apart (though Randy does better than Massiv). With his bonus, Gum can break apart Tobbie (if played first), most Montana (with some exceptions like Mona), most Sentinel, most Uppers... the list is actually larger than people would think.

His weaknesses are blatant, yes: SoA and SoB weaken him, Power reduction/increase, Power Cancellation. But there's one thing you can't deny: So far, Raptors have the highest Life gaps in 2* cards (Scarol, Lucky, and now Gum, with 4, 6 and 5 respectively. Ryujin might be their best 2*, but with Lucky and Gum, you can easily scare most opponents dead.

Now, does everyone see how bad moro is? What I am trying to say is, even if he's more stable, he has 2 more stars for a mere 2 damage.

This card will see play if gheist is not played in elo because that is the biggest threat with consistent soa
Also meaning that i think raptors finally found their other standard two star because in reality this card is pretty insane
5 damage is great for a 2 star
his ability will be good against most clans (probably not so much with all-stars, bangers, and ulu watu)
