Of all the prisoners lost in the Jurassic hell, Ratchek was neither a warrior nor a particularly skilled strategist. After all it had been his talents as a forger that had landed him up in prison after being betrayed by Vermaire. He sought refuge in a cave at the foot of a volcano where no dinosaur ever dared to venture! And with just cause, because it wasn’t long before the sulfurous fumes emanating from the crater’s depths, began to mess with the prisoner’s mind. After having rediscovered the art of the cave painters and ideas of animism, the poor devil started behaving like some kind of sorcerer, generally getting under the clan’s feet with his ranting and raving and unintelligible scribbles!

When a plane taking prisoners from Clint City to a new jail mysteriously disappeared, the Government was quick to hush it up. The truth is that following a strange breakdown, the plane disappeared into thin air in the Saudi desert to later crash in a lost world where Jurassic wildlife still prospered. Forced to come together under the leadership of Clint City’s two most notorious criminals, the surviving prisoners battled against the hostile environment and ended up climbing the food chain. Now united under the name of the Raptors, the prisoners are back in town with lots of new “friends”. They know full well that their plane was sabotaged and no law is going to stop them in their quest for vengeance!

A 3 star poisoner for Raptors

    Pros-
Raptors definitely needed a poisoner. A life modifier in an anti life modifier clan. Yay!
7 Power can help to get the poison through

    Cons-
No back up for the poison.
3 damage is kind of low, but it's made up for the poison
The min is sorta high, but it's alright, considering that Raptors have cards like Wilde at their disposal.

    Rating- 6/10
It might be a bit harsh. Under normal circumstances, he is an awesome card. However, he'll hardly see much play. I mean, I'll use Annie and Rattle definitely above him, maybe even Shaker. Good card, just in the wrong clan.

    Ratchek: A 3*: 7/3 - Poison 2, Min 3

    Pros:
    - A nice power of 7 which allows him to win more rounds, as opposed to having 6 Power
    - His Poison is really nice on rounds 1&2, sometimes even 3.
    - He can get away with facing against other cards with attack modifiers, helping him win more rounds.

    Cons:
    - 3 Damage isn't amazing, it's mediocre at best.
    - The Min of 3 is slightly high, obviously you'd prefer 2 or 1.
    - He has competition with Greem, Sylth Cr and other well known poisoners.

    Rating: 7/10

Reasoning: He's not amazing, while he is the first Poison card for the Raptors he has a lot of competion. He fails to outshine most of these cards. I'm being pretty tough on him, but he's mediocre/good at best.

    Ratchek review:

    Pros:

    7 power is stable.
Ability of Poison, with a decent min of 3 and removing 2 life per turn.
Artwork is good. Matches the description perfectly.
3-star card, so takes less space in decks.

    Cons:

    3 damage is low.
    SoA renders him useless.
Has competition such as Shaker, Rattle, Kruger, Annie, Oakley, etc.
Mostly a first round card. It's go big or go home. You deal the poison with 3 damage or you lose with nothing. And pilling extra for a card like this is plain suicide.

Overall- 5/10. Better than Moro definitely. But this card is rather mediocre in my opinion. To get the maximum benefit from his ability, he should be played in the first round. But over-pilling for him would be crazy, because the poison min is 3 and the damage he deals is also 3, which is low for a 3-star card. There are other better 3-star cards in the clan, and even as a poison card (which is quite rare in the Raptors), he's not that good compared to the others. And I think that Ratchek should have been in the freaks, so that he could capitalize on his poison damage. He's definitely in the wrong clan for me.

Certainly an interesting card. Chopper Ld has 1 more Power and her effect activates immediately, while also having a slightly lower minimum. But if used the first or second round, Ratchek ends up dealing more damage overall. So, will this end up being used? I don't really think so. Chopper has more reliable Power, and Raptors still have Rattle (sometimes) and Shaker.

But hey, at least it's not Moro.

He has his uses, Chopper Ld has seen one rotation so most probably don't have him. Rattle is always banned. Then Shaker and Annie would be before him. Both are kind of expensive while he is cheap, plus a poison on them is really useful as it allows them to lower the amount of rounds they win. With a lower damage or more unreliably damaging clan he fits in.
