While the other Hives wouldn’t hold back from launching a mass attack on a group of Vortexes, that’s just not Hal Gladius’ style. He’s a skilled duelist who likes to vanquish his enemies single-handedly. Stabbing someone in the back is not his thing. And rumor has it, his next target is Gats...

In the distant future is a dead and crystallized world. The rebellion against Dregn has been vanquished. The last resistance group, known as the Hive, pirate a Vortex time portal and narrowly escape extermination by transplaning to the past... but the ionic charge is too much for their spacecraft that crashes down into Clint City, not far from the old, abandoned Planetarium. Lost in an unfamiliar era and rejected by the humans, the Hive hide out in the city only to uncover the existence of their enemy. So, maybe the prophecy was true after all... Should they take their chance to reform the rebellion... and perhaps change their future?

    2* staple for hive! 7 power is clutch, bonus duh, ability fights dr & even VS. 2* gets 3 damage. 6 VS a 5* with -15 att is a gainer. Whew! Not a ko but early to mid super dangerous.

    Hal could refer to hardware abstraction layer befitting a member of Hive. Gladius is Latin for sword. Befitting his nature of stabbing.

    Personally against Gats, Hal Gladius is better at low Pill Fighting and bluffing while Gats has to Pill to ensure he has sufficient attack to maintain a Bluff for that nasty 6 Damage.

    With this, Equaliser for an Ability and Bonus can create some unique strategies. However I feel that Hal Gladius would be stronger against dangerous enemies such as 5 Stars where the stakes for Damage and power are higher.

    Despite this, for a 2 Star, the irony is that Hal Gladius might be seen more frequently in T1 Decks where his ability and bonus is not what I would define strong. Besides that, a reasonable choice for EFC.

    @UM_Fusion - except it's 2 star
    it's potential is really high, normally this would be a 3s in a clan like Gheist

    Faced against other 2s, it's 7/1 with -2 opp life
    but it gets better when faced with higher stars
    also it's - opp life so damage can't be reduced; when it comes down to it, it's pretty monstrous
