Aaxolotl is another Ulu Watu descendent who’s just joined the Hives. Once she transferred to her artificial body, she wanted to add abilities related to her natural element, water. After a good deal of fine-tuning certain parts, she is now able to use water in all its forms and transform it at her will. In fact, she’s just won, with the greatest of ease, an ice sculpting competition in Mount Glatz, which has earned her the hatred of the entire Frozn clan…

In the distant future is a dead and crystallized world. The rebellion against Dregn has been vanquished. The last resistance group, known as the Hive, pirate a Vortex time portal and narrowly escape extermination by transplaning to the past... but the ionic charge is too much for their spacecraft that crashes down into Clint City, not far from the old, abandoned Planetarium. Lost in an unfamiliar era and rejected by the humans, the Hive hide out in the city only to uncover the existence of their enemy. So, maybe the prophecy was true after all... Should they take their chance to reform the rebellion... and perhaps change their future?

Aaxolotl is actually pretty good. Don't be fooled just because it's a common. 7 power coupled with the clan's bonus can really help this card win rounds, but I'd say it's the 7 damage that makes this card worth using. Unlike other 5 star cards in this clan, SOA won't effect the power or damage potential, so for that reason alone it worth considering, especially in T2 games. As for the ability, SOA even confidence based is a good ability. Yes, confidence can restrict it, but if you do have it active, it makes Aaxolotl a powerful threat.

I really recommend this card if your wanting to play Hive on a budget. Best used in T2 but can be played in T1 with some success too or until you can afford a 5 star Hive you want to replace it with. Personally I have used this card with a lot of success in T1 and even though I have (or at least can afford) some of the more expensive 5 stars, I still choose to use this card over the other 5 star Hives. Competition in T1 matches would more be from 4 star cards rather than 5 stars, but even at that Aaxolotl's damage really gives it an edge.

Overall I would say it is up to you and your playing preference, but I completely recommended Aaxolotl. Power coupled the clan bonus, the decent damage and more importantly can be used in both T1 and T2 decks.

Aaxolotl - 7/7 with Confidence: SOA (ability) and Equalizer: -3 Opp Attack, Min. 5 (bonus) - 5 Stars

    - Good power of 7
    - Great damage of 7
    - Ability is based on Confidence. Usually, difficult to trigger.

    Opinion:
SOA always useful. Unfortunately its Confidence based. Fortunately, this clan has many good cards and combined with the clan bonus Confidence may not be that hard to trigger.
Mind game possibilities, can cause opponent to over pill your previous card thinking you’re trying to trigger Confidence.

In ELO or Tourney, he is quite good. In T2, his 7 power is not as powerful the recent releases but his bonus still helps.

    Uses:
    Offensive Card. Mind games.

    Rating: 8/10
Great base stats along with great bonus. SOA is always awesome. Has some weaknesses but overall its great. As a common card, this card is awesome!
