Schredder had a power: he could talk to animals and had a particularly chose relationship with wolves, like his favorite pet, Ghost. But rather than impressing his classmates, more often than not this special ability made him the target of their taunts: “Go get yourself a useful power, wimp face!". Every day, he fantasized about leaving his hellish school! And every night his wish seemed to come true…at least in his dreams. Right up until the fateful full moon on his 17th birthday that marked his very first nightly transformation. And after having seen his gigantic build and impressive claws, no one has ever again dared tease Schredder, the werewolf!

At first when I seen this card I thought he was a decent 5 star card not realising he is actually not 4 stars!

Schredder is one of, if not the best 4 stars skeelz have to offer.

Of course, this is my opinion and there might be people who might not junk the same but let me tell you why I think this...

Because Schredder has 9 power, I'm not going to compare him to some of the 4 star skeelz that only have 7 power. Mainly because +2 power is almost like having the banger or ulu watu bonus, except his power is more stable. Having said that, I could go through the 7 power 4 star skeelz and make an argument that he is better but I want to focus on his main competition rather than every other 4 star card. Also I'm not going to compare him to Corvus because I think they play two completely different roles. One is a wall the other focuses on damage, so it's personal preference and what your deck requires more than anything else. Also I think we can agree he is better than Carter.

So first card I want to compare him with is the mighty Galactea! 4 stars, 8 power, 4 damage and toxic 1, min 0. An awesome card! Potentially a 8/8 4 stars.

The second is, and can be discribed as equally awesome is Xingshu! 8 power, 5 damage and growth +1 life. Another awesome card that is potentially a 8/9 4 stars.

Then we have Schredder, who I hope to show is as equally awesome as these two. 9 power, 1 damage and -5 opp. life min 0. Potentially a 9/6 4 star card.

So first off you might think, well both Galactea and Xingshu can make more of a life difference. Which is true. However this is only true if Galactea is played on round 1 and if Xingshu I'd played on round 4. Making both of them more predictable than Schredder. So yes, they can both do overall more damage than Schredder, but only when played on a specific turn, while Schredder on the other hand can be played at any turn and still do -5 life, min 0. Schredder Is better than Galactea in later rounds. With Xingshu, she can still match Schredder in early rounds, however Schredder outclasses them both with extra power. So with Xingshu, it's a case of potentially more damage for less power. Both also are effected by damage reducers while Shredder isn't.

Galactea does have the advantage of not being effected by life modifiers. However to get the best out of her she needs to be played in early rounds and she still has less power than Schredder. Doesn't sound like much but not only can that 1 more power make the difference of winning the round but being able to use Schredder at any turn without bein limited and your opponent countering him early on is another advantage to Schredder, which bring a me to my second point...

Xingshu, like Schredder is effected by cancel opp. life mod. which is more of a problem for Xingshu than Schredder. Even though she can still do 4 damage in this case your opponent can wait until later rounds to use their cancel opp. life mod. knowing it will help against Xingshu's ability. With Shredder, because he can be used at any round can be better used when your opponent isn't playing their cancel. opp. life mod. as he can be played at any round.

So as you can see, there is more than just the extra 1 power that makes Schredder worth using over these other two pages. However the best things about him is because he is 4 stars it's more likely that you can with these cards. So you don't have to choose, you can use him with these cards and this is yet another reason why he is top tier 4 star skeelz that really should be used in both T2, but certainly in T1 decks.

I just realised that this card is pretty much just a better Carter. Carter's Protectionsmileyamage, 7/6, while Schredder is a 9/6 that also has the same immunity to damage reduction. Only issue is that Schredder can be unstable due to the very rare but possible Cancel Life Manipulation that shows up, but in general he blows Carter out of the water.

Schredder's got excellent stats that a 5* would be ecstatic with and is stable against individual SOA or SOB, but he has nothing else to help him win. He's a solid card, and a versatile pick. Just a brutal 9/6 to bash your enemy with.

I guess this character is inspired on Jon Talbain, or Valkenhayn R. Hellsing (or maybe both).

I love this Schredder. my new favorite character from Skeelz.

Finally a decent Werewolf. I've always wondered when we would get a decent one since, as far as I know, the only one we've gotten is Russell and he's not precisely the best... Luckily this guy is a BEAST and he belongs to my fav clan, so I'm happy smiley
