Good against KOs againt, not a card for attacking obviously, a defense card, but it don't really see any use of it against Fang Pi Clang or La Junta- I mean their bonuses are +2 damage- Ricardo's ability is -3, againt a strong 0HKO card like Kinjo- it really doesn't do much help- i mean stop from being KOed, but not much help.

Ricardo is the worst card imo for 2 star Montana deserves better.
He stands no chance vs Nightmare or Piranas clans and there around almost every corner these days.
He is useless vs cards 4 damage or lower, and to pridictable.
His power is too low (4)
His damage is slightly ok with a (3) if you win a small pil battle.
If his bonus is not Stopped then he is only useful if you pil 1-2 for easy win, other than that he's no.
Your much better off getting a card let's say Spiaghi

The brilliance of Ricardo's 4 power is that all you need to do is add an extra pill onto his attack and it's as if you've added an extra 3 pills onto him (thanks to the Montana bonus). Your opponent needs at least 20 attack to defeat him, and even if they do defeat him, they lose 3 damage from their attack. Yes, his minimum is high. But people severely underestimate this card. He's also a pretty valuable bluff thanks to the bonus.
