In order to quietly rid himself of any potential trouble-makers (coastguards, enemy pirates or Tyd's ex-wife) Bloodh makes full use of Tula’s talents. A swift and silent swimmer, she can slip under enemy boats without a sound and in a matter of moments pierce their hulls with an accuracy that will plunge any nuisances to the bottom of the sea no sooner said than done.

After scouring the oceans of the globe for many a long year, Captain Bloodh's Piranas have finally cast anchor in town – time to stretch their legs out a bit and let their hair down! Noisy, aggressive and thieving (well, they are pirates after all), they’ve been quick to make enemies, and the odd friend. But all in all, they’re having such a good time, they’re in no hurry to head back to sea.

    Noone's done an actual rating?:

    Pros:

-4 damage for a 2-star is both amazing and threatening, allowing you to 2hko with akhab, or a furious bloodh
-Best trait of this card is obviously the power manip combined with sob. Together, they tear apart many'a'good elo threats (notables being mona, toro, blaaster, and el gringo)
    -as I mentioned earlier, she's only 2-stars

    Cons:

-anything with soa/protection: power generally kills off this card
-anything that can bring tula's power under her min generally kills her off
-(assuming this card isn't banned in elo when tula is) lea is tula's number-one counter, as she forces tula to pill at least 4 times to win

My rating: 10.0/10. Tula is arguably the queen of elo. She's only 2-stars, has decent damage, and is one of few cards who can simultaneously counter mona and toro. With her only "true flaw" being her soa weakness, she is easily a top threat that one should always prepare for.

Tula is named after Aquaman's adopted daughter, Tula, who later becomes Aquagirl. When Aquaman leaves Atlantis to search for his wife Mera, an enemy takes over the throne and a rebellion led by Tula overthrows him and returns power to her father. Tula is a recurring character both in Aquaman and the Teen Titans until her untimely demise.

    ~Captain Bloodh's Tavernous tails~

Ay, a good many people have asked
"Capn' Bloodh what's the best way to sink a ship?"
I usually respond in something along the lines of "I setting it on fire and letting it burn while listening to the dying screams of those trapped inside"

Then I laugh at the way their face looks from that chilling though. Truthfully the best way to sink a ship is to take a drill and make a nice clean hole in the bottom so it sinks before the people on board can do anything about it. How do I do this you may ask, well since I'm not in a good fit swimming physique I picked up a crew member that is rather cleaver with a drill and a good fast swimmer. Her name is Tula and I believe she's quite good at her job.

Some of the cruder men at the docks were never quite sure when they saw her on the ship but it seems that they found themselves with a boat that was full of water and underwater.
(If you'd like more of these please rate green. I know that some have attempted to lay claim to piranas already but I wanted to see one of length and depth for the piranas)

@StormWhisper: I really like how you show off one of the best and fun to play 2 stars out there. However, your review has a few glaring flaws:

First of all, -attack cards like Frankie Hi, Frank, and Kang have an edge on Tula, instead of the other way around like you said. UNLESS both you and your opponent have 0 pills left, cards with -attack abilities, if pilled on, are especially effective against Tula. -6 attack is like -2 pills. Granted, Tula can still overpower them with 3 power versus their 2, but not without using up a few pills. And who knows, maybe it was a bluff, and the enemy may be able to take the 4 damage.

Also, you say 8s aren't much better off against Tula. However, again, 4 power (after Tula's ability is factored in) versus 3 power is actually better than 8 power versus 7 power (which is Tula's "theoretical" power). Each pill is worth more, so Tula would have to overpill against an 8 power (to beat them), while 7 powers don't have to pill nearly as much.

Still, your review was nicely written and was fun to read, and everything but the stuff pointed out was true.

if there ever was an advert for a budding reviewer, here is one. Check out my Stiko and Vickie Cr reviews and feedback, also known as hating, is welcome. Oh yea and rate up if u like what u r readin. Ok lets go....

    Tula: 3/4
Ability: -4 opp power min 2.

    Pros:
-Sob clans remain a favourite with a lot of players. they offer a good balance of offence and defence. Tula is one of the latter category. Neutralising power/attack manips of ur enemies with the Sob and then reducing their power by more than half more often than not and this card brings many to their knees. I wont even bother listing them as Nectanebo has done a nice job of that. tried and tested staple in post piranha T1 decks.
-With 4 damage nothing to be sneezed at for a 2* when the full scale of your attack hits home, ur opposition will be reeling with conflicting thoughts in their strategy; if you havent exhausted the majority of ur pills with an excessive overkill on an unfortunate Bob joby. (yea ive been there done that, got the t-shirt).
-People love the art of Tula, I think its not quite as good as Syd Noze, but everyones got their opinion.

    Cons:
-Yea its obvious but when hit with Soa/Sob or even worse full-stops, this card is brought down to its knees and then to its ankles. This card works when ability and bonus work in tandem. take that away and this card is like a rabbit in the headlights of an 18 wheeler. On the bright side, head-on collisions with cards like Dieter, Leviatonn, Spycee, etc. can be avoided with smart play with the rest of your hand, but it still affects the strategy you play.
-Emeth, Taljion, Boohma. Up against these cards, and you might as well pack ur bags go home and take a shower.
-Protection: Power. Enter plan B stage right.
-With the ELO lifebar at 14, some may argue that it does not hold the attacking ferocity as it does in normal t1. those people may be slightly right but id personally tell em to go eat......i wont finish that sentence.
-She should be wearing safety goggles (over her eyes) when operating those drills and a hard hat. basic health and safety procedures.

Summary: Lets not lie, Tula is a great card and with Hawkins and Bonnie Ld there is competition for 2* spots but you'd have to have a very good reason for not taking this card into ur mono or even dual deck. My personal history with her is a more positive one and if im using piranhas t1/elo she'd be my go to 2*. whether she stays strong in the future? I would say so but with recent cards like Melanie out, time will tell.

    This card is amazing.

The first few years when she is out, everyone says: O SHIT, A TULA !!!!!

Until everyone is so sick with her that everyone starts carrying cards like; Wayne Stark, Fanny, Serena, Zack, Onyx, Stanly, T Gaank, and sooo many more, just to beat her up.

What a great card that changed the world gameplay. smiley
