Having only just arrived in town, Hula and her sister Twyh were taken on by Betty who opened the doors of the Pink Club to them, but after a dozen or so shows the two sisters were spotted by Eve who convinced Boris Cr to hire them. Ever since, Betty has sworn to get her revenge on the Freaks and in particular on the two sisters.

Having been around in Clint City since anyone can remember, the Freaks Circus offers unbelievable daytime shows for you and your kids, including fire breathers, knife throwers, big cats and magicians! But when night falls, the show turns into something quite different which, let’s just say, is not recommended for the weak at heart… Come see the Freaks; you're in for a big surprise!!!

If her ability was Poison 2, Min 1, it would be a very useful card.

Now she's only useful against SOB cards and clans.

Hm, I rather dislike this card. This is my first comment by the way. Also, I'm fairly new (level 29 at the time of this review), so maybe I'm just spouting nonsense. But I'd say I'm not that bad at this game, since most of my losses are from doing missions, quick withdrawals and not doing the math and going for K.O.s when I'd win without the K.O. and I screw myself over trying to get the K.O.. smiley
And yes, I'm tough on my ratings.

Pros: -For a 2 star card, 7 power is nice, since many 2 star cards have 6 power or less.
-Great for getting your important, stronger cards in there.
-SoA or SoB don't matter unless your opponent has both on one card, and that card is against you. Not likely to happen.
-Decent for bluffs, 2-3 pill attacks work well since the opponent is likely to either use many pills or one, meaning they'll either lose pills putting them at a disadvantage for the next round or they'll deal with poison.
    -Dat ass.

Cons: -Even though this card is good against SoB and SoA, poison doesn't stack, and since the Freaks bonus is Poison 2, Min 3 anyway, this card's pretty much just the average 7/1 card with nothing special. It's almost like there's no ability.
-The low 1 damage means that unless you're against an SoB clan, this card's got nothing for it. And even if you do, your attacks are gonna be somewhat predictable.
-Since both the ability and bonus are poison effects, this card's almost certain to be useless after the first or second rounds.
-Much easier to use a Skeelz card with the poison effect.
-Since the ability is useless with other Freaks card, this card is really useless without either a two-clan deck or a Leader card in your deck, and you won't always be guaranteed to have two cards from each clan or the leader card.

Nice card if you wanna go in Elo with a two-clan deck, but overall a completely useless card with a Freaks only deck. The nice power at a low level is great; however, there's the low damage, useless ability in the majority of cases, and somewhat obvious bluffs depending on your other cards. Especially since there's only two SoB clans, and few SoA cards in each clan, you'll be hard pressed to find a good game with this card unless you purposefully duel someone with an SoB clan.

highly over rated card in my opinion...smiley
    - if you get the freak poison through from any other freak she then has no real purpose and just turns to a 7/1 2* which isn't worth it.
    - the only use for her is to protect the bonus from sob but other than that complete trash.i would recommend Shazam over hula 99% of the time smiley
the only time hulas more effective is when the sob is coming from the ability of the the opponents character but even then shazam can copy that opponent's sob
    in a rating scale i give hula - 5/10

@Spurtung, I'm pretty sure she was released before the idea of 'Protection' A.K.A. err other thing...was implemented.

But what you are saying IS true, she really isn't worth being put in a deck for her purpose...smiley

I have read Silfy's review and been using Hula in my Jungo-Freak and Montana-Freak

I have to say that this card really frustrates me, here's why :

    1. 7 power is just hard to win the fight ( 8 is better, 9 would be great )
    2. 1 damage is just plain terrible
    3. You MUST use her in the first two turns, 3rd turn would be desperate.
    4. You have to use fury to KO enemy from the min 3 poison, then again with 7 power is just hard to get in without atk reducers.
    5. Having her with her clan in a battle would make her MOST OF THE TIME useless. I mean come on when I have her and Magda, I would use Magda instead.
    6. SOA & SOB would shut her down ( but most of the cards do so yeah )

These are also what people claimed to be her pros:
    1. She's more than just a protection, she can be used when she is without her clan.
    2. Great bluff, well maybe not the best poison, but still a good bluff.
    3. SOB immune when she has it.

    Having her solo chances are slim ( I mean Hula - X - Y - Z where X Y and Z is not freaks).
Even when she is solo in the battle, Gheist, Roots and SOA would just make her utter garbage ( and the chances of meeting these guys are high ).

Conclusion : 4/10 Is she worth her price? I would say no. She is extremely conditional, having her with her clan makes her useless except when there's SOB. She is useless when exposed to SOA in any condition ( with her clan it will just make her the same as the other members ). Harleen, Magda and Esmeralda are recommended instead of her. I know their purposes are different, but hula's usefulness are just so situational that it is really bad for me. Even when you have the perfect condition, the chances of her winning in battles are quite slim. These reviewers need to emphasize on her downside.

7/1 with two lots of poison 2 min 3?

it feels odd to say this, but your opponent NOT having SOA or SOB kinda kills this card. since poison doesnt stack it just sits there as a 7/1 freak ... about as scary as a sick puppy.
