As a young warrior prince, Sekutor already dreamt of harnessing the power of the vortex and transforming it into a weapon. It wasn't easy to begin off with but after many attempts he finally managed to develop a fearsome fighting technique which he alone has mastered and has since become Dregn’s champion in the Stadium of Death.

-4 Opp Damage, Min 3
If Sekutor loses their fight, the Damage inflicted on Sekutor’s owner will be reduced by 4 points or up to a minimum of 3.

Defeat: Recover 2 Pillz Out Of 3

In a distant future, a prophet revealed to the menacing Dregn that an alliance of the descendants of the Clint City Clans would bring about the downfall of his evil empire and an end to his reign of terror. To put a stop to this defeat, Dregn has sent his best fighters to eradicate the problem at its source, that is 1000 years earlier, at a time when the clans are at their most divided.

    2* 1/2
    3* 3/4
    4* 5/6 Ability Unlocked
    5* 6/8

Ability: -4 Opp. Damage Min 3.

Before I get started, I would like to jump for EXTREME joy! I was anxiously awaiting a 5* DR Vortex card for T2 and I got just what I needed. smiley

    - DR! The second DR in vortex no less! He's sporting a great -4 Opp. Damage min. 3, as well. Not only do you reduce the opponents damage, but you gain pillz back when he loses thanks to the stunning Vortex Bonus.
    - This guy comes packed with a brutal 8 damage for a DR which can really give your opponents quite a scare.
    - If the situation provides it, he can be used as a relatively decent fork.
    - Could still function well even without his ability.
    - He gets his ability at level 4. While not useful in any means for ELO players, rich T1 players can decide to abuse this.
    - This card will do wonders in the T2 environment.
    - If you're going first, you may be able to surprise your opponent by playing him with alot of pillz. Doing this with high damage/low power DR's is usually not recommended; however, since he gets pillz back upon losing, the risks aren't as bad.
    - Great art! And I do mean GREAT art!

    - 5*! He takes up massive deck space.
    - Low unaided power. You're in trouble if you absolutely NEED to hit with him.
    - The Pirahnas can one up him alot as most of them naturally will have low damage, higher power, and/or with pill manip.
    - Decent fork; however, if you're looking for a Vortex to fork with, his 5* brethren are much better in this department.
    - While he COULD function in T1 or ELO; for practically purposes, his forte is within the T2 environment. I'd recommend using him ONLY for T2 as Vortex has much better 5*'s for T1 or ELO.

Which 5* Vortex should I use?
Quick Summary: DEFINITELY use this card if you mostly play T2. Most of the time, you wouldn't need to worry about competition in that format. I don't recommend using this card in T1 or ELO at all unless you DESPERATELY want a vortex DR. (If that's the case, use Neloe lol). Dregn, Shakaarti, Oflgn, and even C Beast, are ultimately better choices.

Score: 8/10 in T2 ONLY. 6/10 Everywhere else.

I'm honestly amazed noone's made a 300 reference with him yet. Giant shield and spear in hand, and the clothing is pretty reminiscent of the movie as well.

Well then...allow me to be the first to say..."SEKUTOR...WHAT IS YOUR PROFESSION?!?!?!"

No one has mentioned his Mortal Kombat inspired name...Sektor was a ninja from Sub-Zero's clan who became a cyborg.

    Cyb Lhia's Diary

    Entry #4

Sept 11, Infernal Year of 2011

Merely two days ago, the most peculiar things began happening to the master portal in the center of our base. The portal became entirely too unstable, and despite my offerings of blood, it continued its violent outbursts until it closed completely, something which has never happened before under the watchful eyes of my master Lehrg. This sent the whole base into a frenzy of panic as my master and the engineer Galen tried all they could to reopen the portal, but to no avail. When it seemed that we would need to report this problem to our great emperor and suffer the wrath of his court, the portal erupted back online, spitting out someone in a flurry of lightning and thunder. When the dust had settled, we cautiously approached the newcomer, and noticed the odd way that the portal seemed to pull itself to him. He introduced himself with pomp and grandeur as Sekutor, and at once the army of soldiers behind me fell hastily to their knees, my master included. He yanked me quickly to the ground as Sekutor passed, the man striding swiftly to the bunker that housed our great emperor and his court. As he left, my master explained to me that this was Sekutor, one of the most fearsome of the warrior princes, who had made a name for himself by using the raw power of the vortex portals as a weapon in our great emperor's Stadium of Death. My curiosity was piqued by this, because I had never known anyone aside from my master, the engineer Galen, and myself who had managed to gain control over the unstable portal energy.
As the prince became settled in our base, it quickly became apparent that his mastery of the portal energy was something that required a great deal of skill as well as a ferocity that could change just as quickly as the temperamental power he wielded. I was entranced watching Sekutor practice his savage magics at our training grounds, and became enthralled watching him spar with the other members of the court. There was no doubt about it that he was one of the warrior court, for his power and savagery was just as fierce as that of Skaakarti and Oflgn, if not more so due to his mastery of such an unstable element. Perhaps, with just a bit of my help, I could help him to further manage his power, and teach him the ways of using blood to stabilize the temporal power he wields to greater effect. Perhaps, I can petition my master to grant me an audience with this savage prince, and allow me to help temper his untamed power for the glory of our great empire.

    level 2: 1 power, 2 damage
    level 3: 3 power, 4 damage
    level 4: 5 power, 6 damage
    level 5: 6 power, 8 damage

now on my first account which i played to death and got bored of i played mono vortex and this card is one great addition, the card itself has the magic number 8 damage is always appreciated and the power is half decent but with ambre's ability the card is a whopping 9 power and 8 damage now that itself can 2HKO with most other vortex card and that is good. The cards ability allows the card to be used against clans like fang pi and La junta where there bonus is plus 2 damage, most cards in these clans have high enough damage to 2HKO without their ability so having - 4 damage is brilliant if your in a tight nit battle with one of these clans and to boost you can pill and afford to lose as the cards ability takes four damage away from the opponent and the bonus allows you to gain in defeat 2 pillz out of 3 a winning strategy in anyone's eyes. Now i play mono Fang pi clan and i must say i came across one person who used the srategy above and won against me even though all of my cards were able to 2HKO (and i had Fei, Kuei, Ryuichi and Heitachi ) and yet they still beat me because with this card it allows any mono vortex player to bluff or to 2HKO with any other vortex card.
A great addition to the clan lets just say they he isnt courage based either so the ability can be used whenever.

When I first saw this card I thought it was decent- 8 damage is a lot, but with only 6 power and no atk/pwr manipulation it's not gonna get through. Similarly, -4 damage is pretty good, but when the min is as high as 3 it's pretty limited.
This week i started using this card in T2 survivor because I didnt have enough to buy Shaakarti and figured it could be useful. This card is awesome. As soon as you get your opponent down to 8 life, throw this card out with full pillz. Your opponent will probably think youre bluffing since it has low power and is a DR. If that's the case, youll kill them. Let's say your opponent realizes youre trying to finish them, then they MIGHT beat you, but then you not only get 2/3s of your pillz back, but you also limit their damage done down to three, giving you another turn or two to finish them off, and chances are you now have more pillz than them.
Don't underestimate this card, its ability and damage are perfect with its clan bonus, and its power is deceiving- when you have all your pillz to use, whats so scary about attack manipulation?

Level 2 My power is greater than "C" monster you can make.

Level 3 Must keep focus and strong.

Level 4 Only a vortex can hide my shadow.

Level 5 Bow down or be sucked into a vortex and never come out.
