Left for dead after a grizzly fight on Mount Glatz, Haaken was rescued just in the nick of time by the yetis of the Frozn clan, who were out for their daily constitutional. The old man had been out in the cold for so long that his right arm had completely frozen and as a result, had to be amputated. Taken in and adopted by the clan, his experience has allowed him to become the Frozn's chief patroller and his lost limb has since been replaced by a state-of-the-art high-pressure ice spear.

Clan's bonus Revenge: Power And Damage +2
Just as they were leading a peaceful life at the top of Mount Glatz, the Frozn were struck down by a strange malevolence. Pollution coming from Clint City caused a heat wave that destroyed their ecosystem and upset their lifestyle: a delicate symbiosis of men of the mountains and techno-loving yetis. So, led by the glacial Kalindra, the Frozn are marching towards the city to cast a chilling effect on the inhabitants of Clint City...

"Grizzly" as an adjective means 'grey' or 'flecked with grey'... like a grizzled beard.
"Grisly" means 'gory'. Brought to you by the people who actually know how to read, write, and speak in English. smiley

In just about every clan, a card comes out that is, for no readily apparent reason, one of my favorite cads in the game. As you may have guessed from my lead-in, Haaken has made the list of these cards. He's only 3 *, which makes him perfectly reasonable for any deck, even though the game has just taken away the final T1 style format... but I digress. smiley

His 7 power is very normal and acceptable for his star count, as is his 3 damage, especially being that having any more than that would make him way too powerful.

His ability is one of everyone's favorites: SOA. Straight up, no Revenge or Confidence, which creates a perfect balance with his clan bonus, but I'll address that in a moment. SOA can stop any number of abilities, many of which are what makes those cards a threat in the first place, and the best part? His true use, which brings me to his clan bonus.

As a member of the Frozn clan, of course Haaken has been endowed with the 'Revenge: Power and Damage +2' bonus. You know what SOA cards should rightfully be called, at least in this clan? Defeat cards. Haaken is effectively another Defeat card, meant to make the bonus of the clan work, and his best ability is getting rid of whatever nasty power your opponent has to use on you by winning. You're only working against their damage and bonus, which, granted, are still incredibly hurtful, but if they're that bad, Haaken could easily win too, activated one of the clan's ever-growing army of Confidence-based cards, and creating a 3 damage hole in their life, or 5, with 9 power, if you played him on a turn when your bonus is activated. A 9/5 3 * card with SOA? Sounds like a staple to me.

For his synergy with his clan, and his solidness as an SOA card in general, I'm giving him an official 9/10. Many may disagree with this rating, but honestly, there aren't any major flaws. He's a 3 *, he isn't there to win your game, but he certainly helps. smiley

Rate up if you found this useful, and send me a message with a card name if you'd like a similar analysis done for that card. Thank you for your time! smiley

Um, guys, grizzly is an adjective. It's probably saying it was a really gruesome fight, not a fight with an actual bear.
Meaning that the bear stats thing has less to go on now...
Wow, I can't believe we actually care about that stuff.

Apologies, I really should spell-check before submitting my comments, but in my previous entry, I incorrectly worded a sentence, and it should've read like this:

"You're only working against their damage and bonus, which, granted, are still incredibly hurtful, but if they're that bad, Haaken could easily win too, activating*** one of the clan's ever-growing army of Confidence-based cards, and creating a 3 damage hole in their life, or 5, with 9 power, if you played him on a turn when your bonus is activated."

    Sorry for the mistake! smiley

Frozn 's best 3 star cards in order:
Tiwi Ld (his ability is better than -3 dmg min 1~synergy with bonus)

Mahimatah (Similar to Hakunak just more solid, and -1dmg min 1~synergy with bonus)

Haaken (if he had 1 more pwr or dmg, he would staple , his SoA can sometimes reduce better than Tiwi Ld . , also SoA helps destroy enemy tactics, you dont have to win to make use of SoA~synergy with bonus)

Annuqa (Hands down more solid and more versatile(maybe as versatile as haaken) than sah brinak )

Sah Brinak (over priced, Shaky, she competes with Lothar for most fragile card in UR (lothar has the uperhand since he has . solid dmg of 5, and is as unpredictable as a helen keller high on bathsalt)

    Review Time:

-SOA stops most ability that would easily make Haaken useless
-7 power for a 3* is pretty good
    -3 damage(5 with fury) isn't intimidating but average for a 3*
-Bonus brings it up to a formidable 9/5(9/7 with fury) which makes you beg for mercy
-Low star count makes it a perfect candidate for ELO

-Revenge bonus makes him conditional and predictable
-Without his bonus, most people would bluff with him or no pill against him
-GHEIST, Roots, Nightmare, and Piranas make him look weaker than he really is
-Rare so don't try hard to get him in a pack
-Without bonus, no manipulation at all

8/10. Haaken has some real potential in ELO. THe other modes have yet to be seen, but this card can be used in a variety of ways. When his price goes down, we'll definitely see more of him. A must have for Frozn decks

Wew I wonder y this card was so underestimated.... This card would definitely be a staple in any mono or duo deck with forzn. Haaken is the first and only SOA in Frzn so the time being and i would be a verrrry loooong tym for them to have other SOA. I must admit that Sah Brinak is really a scary card to face but lets face the fact that an SOA would be better. Having the Frozn LD Tiwi would really bring this card's true potential in most cases. Well its also great since the price had been low for the past month and I would definitely assume that its price would climb later on. People will realize how this card can be useful.

frozen has a truely curious lineup of 3*s tiwi ld 6/3 defeat + 3 health amazing synergy with clan and can be used for atk or def then you have haaken, sah brinak and annuqa totaling to 4 3*s that deserve to be in your deck all with varry difrent play styles so after some testing with all these cards let me explain my findings

tiwi ld: most agree that he is the best 3* in the clan i agree tiwi is amazing for activating the clan bonus or if you need he can also atk in my findings he dosnt work as well in split decks +3 hp is a bit less then spiaghi (a 2* dr) 6 power is not much for a 3* and 3 damage isnt worth it ethire so if he dosnt have some1 else to activate revenge he is relitivly useless but when he dose have his clan members to back hem up he plays the best non leader suport roll in the game. great for mono frozen

Sah Brinak: on paper a truely scarry card but has some major flaws if your opp has no soa no sob no drs in his hand sah brinak is the best 3* in the game but sadly that isnt likely if unaposed i highly sujest furying sah brinak so u get +2 damage using 1 pill making her a varry worthwhile card to fury 9 power is a ton and can easilly overpower opp and if you fury 6 damage is varry worth while not to mention pill regain but sah brinak is farely predictable (you need revenge and she dosnt work as a finisher) dont forget she will instantly draw out any drs soa sob or drs your opp has and she can still do some damage even against 1 of those. great for high risk high reward

haaken: this guy is a curious card he has soa and uses it varry defensively with the abilaty to atak with 9/5 stats if needed while the defensive is good i dont like have 2 defensive 3*s in my deck and suprisingly raley do enemy cards have damage related to their abilaties also i tend to do wel against hands with poisen while using frozen the opp wil all most allways overpill to get poison through then i get revange second turn. if you need more defensive throwaway then use haaken

annuqa: i was varry suprised when i first got annuqa at how qwickly she became my favorite 3* to use revange 8/6 stats are great for a 3* but her abilaty makes he even better doing wonders angainst piranaz and nightmare taking out their sob or against allstars, bangers a 10/6 power house. vortex or pc she becomes a nice defensive with possible offance with 8 powere she will kill almost all montana/rescue and against la junta, fang pi chang you have a situational 8/8 3* against frozen a situational 10/8 3* witch is better then most 5*s so basically she is a power house with some versitilaty i often use her as a finisher she is farely strong against soa. sob abilatys hurt but their kind of rare and she still has 6/4 with opp bonus. soo overall the most solid 3* but not as flashy as uthers. if you need a dependable hard hitter use annuqa

hope this was helpfull to some one but the best part is all of the 3*s are so good you cant go to rong.

we all know tiwi ld is a staple so who u gonna use? sah brinak or haaken? if u want a more solid card use haaken. if u want something more explosive but a little more risky use sah brinak.

Hearing the name I think of Colonel Haaken from _Irregular Webcomics_ .. but I doubt that was the motivation for this character.

Anyway 'Haken' is German for hook,

    7/3 - SOA

    Decent Power, Low Damage,

But clan bonus can boost both of those, combined with SOA Haaken makes a good card for this clan,
You can sacrifice him to block an attacker with Poison, or Pill manipulation, or other annoying ability. And the clan benefits in the following round. Or if you already lost the previous round, his SOA can help get through against those with attack or power manipulation abilities.

For a 3-Star - rare, I'd rate 7/10 and expect to see him in a fair amount of play.

There's no point comparing Sah Brinak and Haaken, as having used both, it's a hands down decision. Haaken is a card which can be used in any circumstance, as a 7/3 SOA is nothing to sniff at, even without bonus. On the other hand 7/2 +2 pillz, which is essentially what Sah Brinak is without the bonus, is awful. Therefore, Sah Brinak tends to be a one track card, whereas Haaken is more versatile.

the first frozn cr won't be out till just before the clan after the next clan comes out. i know this because ur has patterns that they tend to follow other than new cards every 2 weeks.
    new clan every 8 months
new cr's (2) every 8 months (but just before new clan like a month or two
